The center of the target should be your point of aim. Shoot a 3 or 5 round group depending on the instructions from your Drill Sergeant and or Range Instructor. You will get plenty of marksmanship instruction prior to firing your first live round. Any adjustments you are told to make will be based on your point of impact compared to pint of aim (POA/POI) Always remember to follow your instructors guidance.

At Ft Benning the odds are you will have the best marksmanship training that’s out there. Just listen and follow instructions. Now, what’s best about these new zeroing targets is center mass hold is easier to understand than the target with reduced E type silhouette, which made getting exacting elevation difficult, even for highly qualified trainers. At any rate you will not struggle at all with center mass hold . Just concentrate on consistent sight alignment and smooth trigger control.

Roughly yes but it depends on ammo your using and barrel length of your AR…remember the military M4A1 is only a 14.5 inches long with the barrel compensator attached.

@@greatcornholio5541 i have mil-spec M4 carbine which was left behind by US forces in Afghanistan.

There is a downloadable PDF you can print. Some people spray acetate zero tragets for zeroing in wet weather.

I got mine from “ Action Target”, there’s a minimum order of 25 targets, but it’s less than $20. I’m sure there’s other places on line to get them.
