There is no Caste system in India. There is a Varna system. Both are different. The Verna system is a spiritual concept and only Dharmic non-materialistic society can apply it. Those who have materialistic , western view on Indian society call it Caste and Class. Totally wrong. Therefore, prerequisite for Varna system is a Dharmic life style and a Dharmic Society with Dharmic education system.
Caste is a portuguese christian missionary word, it was used by then colonisers to divide hindus and muslims to convert the ones that were considered lower.

The only people who were excluded in the entire history of Indian History are dalits cause they dealt with animals carcass and there was no way to disinfect and that remained the norm, since jobs were hereditary.
