Thank you for your fishing series. As a youth, I loved fishing. Now, I'm 68 and my love for fishing has returned. Fishing basics still apply but, the combined science and technology has certainly changed since my youth. Thanks for helping me in my effort to come up to speed!
Thanks for the video, we are normally back trolling for Coho and usually use a Banana, dodger and cut plug herring, better understand it now, will have to try more methods when you still show fish on the finder but the bite slows.
I use dodgers and i have learned that your lure or bait needs to be 14 inches or less from the dodger towork the best and on your line towards the pole about 30 inches you need arudder to prevent line twisting . Pole to rudder to dodger to lure .
If u ran the pro troll with agitator on a downrigger how much set back would u use a typical like 24 inch rigger to pro troll or set it back some distance thanks much
your theory is wayyyyy off lol look at a school of herring ? when the school changes direction the whole school flashes ( from their scales as they turn direction ) and flashers dont make a thumping noise lol. thats what a flasher is supposed to imatate
Sounds like your theory is as plausible as his. Without being a fish, I don't suspect any of us will ever know, but we can assume based on both theories that it works!
