As much as I would love to see the Fantastic Four back with Marvel I wouldn't be surprised if Fox started making movies similar to the one from 1994 just to hold on to the rights.
I am kinda confused....this video talks about the Blade movies...I don't understand which group that the Blade franchise fits into...I guess know the history would do me some good but I was under the impression that Blade was not part of any of these groups...obviously I am wrong but I was wondering if someone could shed some light on the subject please????
The Blade movies that we know don't connect to anything. Those rights were bought back in the late 90s and those movies were made. However, those rights have reverted back to Marvel, which means that Marvel can now use Blade, in either film or television. Does that make sense?
+IAYTD You forgot to mention ROM: the Spaceknight, the Micronauts, and MASK. Also the X-men movies haven't been as successful as you think. All of them made very little money but, it wasn't until Days of Future past that it made a huge profit and was extremely successful but, was why Deadpool was extremely low budget since they weren't sure it would do well then it did and now they have a reason to really continue.
I like to think we'll get the Xmen and Fantastic 4 in Infinity Wars, Marvel could recast and help create a Fantastic 4 movie, giving the fans a spectacle, and allow those guys to enter the MCU. From there Sony could release a Fantastic 4 film that the fans would actually like. In the negotiations Marvel could include a stipulation that if they do that, as a favour, Sony would allow them to use the X-men and the current cast, in Infinity Wars... Also Deadpool
So what does that mean for the Logan film? It's supposed to be the Old Man Logan, but I don't think it can have Hawkeye or Hulk. Damn, every artform is ruined by lawyers and corps.
I really want marvel to get the xmen and the fantastic four back. All the people that disagree with me are just the ones that complain that "marvel will never make an r rated wolverine or xmen movie" I get that. But the reason I want them back are not just for the movies but because I want them to no t be left out. I want to play as the xmen and the fantastic four again in new games and I want to see them in comics and cartoons without any restrictions.
Hi there! Well, the unthinkable has happened and Disney has bought 20th Century Fox! So most of this video doesn't make sense anymore. If you're interested in stuff like this, check out my more recent videos for more discussion about what this means!
+Uranus Marvel owns he rights to Hulk and the rights to do solo movies, unviersal only owns distribution rights, it has nothing to do with characters right
Diego Maldonado no, the reason is that Universal owns th distribution rights to the movie, meaning that Universal gets all the money, while Disney doesnt get anything at all
eagc7 That's crazy dude, that is not how movies work; Universal have less than 12% of the movie box-office money. Disney can make a movie about Hulk and if Universal don't want it; Disney can set another company for the distribution: www.slashfilm.com/universal-hulk-rights/
can't fox just sell x-men to marvel because fox won't make anymore x-men movies. whats the point of fox keeping x-men if they won't make anymore x-men movies? Or can't fox work with marvel like sony worked with marvel on spiderman homecoming?
Its just a bunch of cocka dookie politics, it sucks that MS cant just use all of the characters they rightfully own in the first place, Hollywood business crap!!!!!
