Do these need to be posted in an outpatient clinic/do patients have to sign a document saying they were informed of their rights and responsibilities?

There are specifically mentioned patient rights and responsibilities mentioned in the HIPAA notice you have to provide to patients for their review. Yes, these can be posted in the clinic and have to be on your website too. There is an acknowledgement that should be signed by each patient and stored in their documents.

I am a mountain endurance athlete and my domestic NM wife sent me to lock up medical facility far away using her power of attorney -- and I fought the nurses and doctors daily to remain drug free. they didn't believe me. they offer pills for everything and push hard. Dr.s even say if you don't take the medications I prescribe for you then you are not cooperating and we will just keep you here longer. I was like what/ are you kidding me. I never will take anything and I fought them nightly as they sent in paramedics so there would be more of them to fight, but calmly asserting my rights in front of the cameras worked -- just no sleep and no safety there. does this sound familiar to anyone?
