Just got done watching this ‘part 1’ a second time time today. As a cradle Catholic I admit to Almighty God - I know nothing (maybe a little but not much). One thing for sure - much of humanity will at least have chance of being saved when Fr Chris is elected pope. Father thank you for widening, and putting up sign posts on, that narrow path to Eternal Life.

I am so grateful for this! It’s exactly what I had hoped to view. I feel like I get this religion theologically, it makes sense to me. But it’s the little things that trip me up, like what do I do during mass? I’ve seen it my whole life, but no one really ever sat me down and explained it. Also, thank you, THANK YOU 🙏 I’d begun to think I was going crazy, because I see traddies complaining about the Novus Ordo Mass all the time, and I actually like it. I agree that TLM is nice, I’ve experienced it in a very nice congregation before. But I prefer NO mass. Granted, I know people are going to say I’m a modernist because of it. But I reject any such labels of traditional vs modernist. Being Catholic, by nature, is to be traditional. I’m here, because I recognize that modern society is hecking crazy and that the Church is a timeless beacon of morality and goodness founded by Jesus himself. I do find solace in the Novus Ordo mass. I find it in both masses, I just prefer NO over TLM. Once I actually began understanding John 6, mass connects me with Jesus, regardless of the mass I’m attending. I’ve experienced his presence in NOM and I go home at peace every single time. I might come in a total mess, but it’s like I went to church and received a giant hug from God. To hear so many untrue things being said about this mass, which btw brought me back to church, it’s disheartening. I may not be a super scholar, but I know bs when I see it. You also just can’t compare TLM to NO. They’re different to each other. It’s brought a lot of turmoil to me to see this conversation floated around. It’s distracting when there are so many things I need to still learn. At any rate, thanks again for your talks.

It doesn't really matter which form the mass is being celebrated although i must say i love it when the incense is being used from the beginning to the end. What's most important is that we are all part ofvthe highest form of prayer, celebrating and being part of God's offering

I think it is beautiful when I here Catholic priest compliment each other. Im speaking of teaching. Fr. Mike Schmitz of Ascension and you Fr. Chris in teaching Catholicism. It seams not even similar however word for word. Ive been back in my home town now a and can't get a strait answer from four different local catholic churches. Sometimes they actually contradict each other. Also you both speak with great passion and of reverence. I thank you Fr. Chris

When I first went to a Traditional Latin Mass, I could not believe how beautiful and reverent it was. I recall thinking "This is the closest I am going to get to heaven". That was just one year ago. When I went back to my local church I was so saddened to see everyone talking before and after mass like it was some sort of social club. It hurt to see people taking Holy Communion in the hand and showing very little respect. I lost count at the number of rounds of applause for those who made the cake stall, for the choir, for Jim and Betty's anniversary and the list goes on. I stopped going when I got the "Dare we hope all are saved" speech. No Novus Ordo mass can compare to the Traditional Latin Mass. One is full of irreverence and a weak liturgy of the word, the other is full of reverence, respect, piety and words of fire. All the young families go to the TLM in my town and it's full to overflowing, they cater for over 600 on a Sunday, whereas the Novus Ordo has a much bigger church but less than a third of the attendees and most are over the age of 60.

I started to listen to your mass at Divine Mercy since Covid started. I'm always saying I wished Fr. Chris would come to Texas.. and you! One day I will be able to visit the The National Shrine of Divine Mercy! Continue to educate us and passion for the Faith as Catholic! Come closer to Texas around the metroplex of Dallas/Ft. Worth. Thankyou Fr Chris Alar for your amazing teachings...I pray that you can put a program together for all children in Australia so it can be streamed into the classrooms. I witnessed a young 9 year old breaking the host into small pieces before consuming it...Luckily I was sitting behind her and corrected her...The day the communion rails were taken away & Communion in the hand introduced in Australia it has been the worst day ever. The children are not taught about the true presence in the EUCHARIST otherwise there would be more respect shown.

I find it distracting when the laity mirror the liturgical positions of the priest, such as holding the hands up, out, or with others during the celebration of the Mass.
