Contrasting this to Battle Against a True Heroine is sort of heartbreaking. Mippa does such a good job portraying both sides of Undyne; she sounds so young and enthusiastic and even naive here and then BAaTH Undyne is desperate and jaded and fighting for the lives of her loved ones with every bit of determination she has.

Yeah she is pretty violent, yes she tries to kill you. This song fills you with DETERMINATION. No, really. I'm seriously. Today I had to prepare a speech and then report it to my classmates. But I can't keep my head in such situation when I must perform in front of public. I become nervous, begin sweating… But in 5 minutes before the speech I recalled some lines from this song: "I feel everyone's heart as they're pounding in sync..." and "Stop running, human, now come back and fight..." And then it seemed as though a miracle happened: my stress instantly disappeared and I got a high mark from the speech. Thanks to you!

The amount of breath control you'd need to sing this all the way through is fantastic. MAJOR props to Mippa for actually managing to do it.

My first playthrough in undertale, was on a pacifist route. Despite that, I still felt like the bad guy when fighting undyne. Knowing that I stood between them and their freedom.... HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT EVEN THOUGH UNDYNE TRYS TO MURDER US, WE STILL SEE HER AS A HERO EVEN WHILE SHE IS TRYING TO KILL US???! I dunno, but it is.

I can't help but laugh every time I watch this now because during the musical livestream we straight up spammed the hell out of the chat saying FIGHT over and over. XD Ah, good times.

This seriously blows me away and is my new favorite song from this musical, and it has some dang stiff competition. Mippa did an amazing job, her voice is so powerful. The dramatic lines at the start gave me chills and I could feel her passion with every part of the song, which is exactly how Undyne should be. She kept pace with the music amazingly well, which is quite a feat. I didn't expect the chorus to be included in this since the other boss fights haven't really had one, but it makes perfect sense, Undyne is fighting for everyone's HOPES AND DREAMS!!11111oneoneone after all. Also I love how Sym draws Frisk a lot, the image of Frisk and Undyne facing off with spears is really great. Every time I listen to this I feel like I can run five miles, it's going on my workout playlist for sure, haha.

I LOVE Undyne's voice. whenever she's voiced there seems to be a tendency to make her voice sound really rough, which is fine but they overdo it and make her sound like she's been smoking five packs of cigarettes a day since she was an infant. but this? this is perfect. it's not super rough but it's loud and commanding, which fits her personality so well. she really sounds like the voice of a race fighting for their freedom. I'm obsessed.

This is fucking perfect. The voice actress has hit the metaphoric nail on the head. The music in the background is amazing. My only problem with this is the line "Real heroes laugh at death." In my eyes, real heroes look death in the face and face it, even when they know that they will die. They accept the thought and fear that they will be gone after the battle they are about to partake in. But that's me.

OH DEAR LORD. WHAT THE HELL. THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME, OH MY SHIT. I mean, yeah, I had high expectations for Spear of Justice, but holy shit. This blows any expectation I had clear out of the water, across the Underground, smashed it against the barrier, broke the barrier into fucking pieces, and then nailed some random human kid in the face with the force of its pure awesomeness. Whoever the Undyne voice is, (sorry, I stopped the video as soon as the song ended because if I tried to pause it during the song I was 99% sure Undyne would jump through my tablet screen and pound me into heart shards for doing so.), um, hi, you are amazing and your voice is perfect for Undyne can I like have your autograph???? The backtrack was gorgeous, and powerful, and my god the chorus. DAT CHORUS DOH. THAT CHORUS IS LITERALLY THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS. with...with da chanting, and the shouting, and the FIGHT! Like, I think this song is literally filling my heart with Determination. (it kinda hurts a little tbh) The lyrics fit perfectly to the flow of the song. To be honest on that front, I thought the lyrics for a few of the songs in this series didn't flow as well as they could have. BUT THIS. THIIIIIISS. These lyrics fit Undyne amazingly. Its beautiful.
