Talent is not enough respected on youtube ... you deserve so much more recognition. I listen to you every day at work. Thank you for sharing your talent and continue to make us dreaming pleaaaase. Thanks from France
It's sad because seems like in modern society, screaming at the camera, doing pranks, or filming some person doing something stupid gets more attention. I found this channel when I was looking for a specific sound track for monster hunter in sound cloud. As soon as I listened to simon's monster hunter acoustic medley I was amazed.
ya I wish people munition and talented people git more respect. I paly the violen and I fined it pretty ezey accept for some reteams. lol sorry for bad spalling
Through much determination, tablature has been written! Available for you to download for free in the video description now. All we ask is that for those who will take the time to learn our arrangement, upload it and show us your prowess! Stay ethereal - Simon
Thank you so much guys. My dog just passed away and your rendition of "Last Goodbye" is the perfect way I wish to tell his soul goodbye as I thank him for all the love, joy and happiness he brought me over the years. You both brought tears to my eyes in the best kind of way.
My friend and I learnt and performed this medley for a music assessment at school (we made a few adjustments so it was do-able for us though, haha), and was honestly a super fun and exciting experience for us. Thank you so much for the beautiful arrangement and playing, even my classmates who didn't know Undertale at all loved hearing it!
God damn it, that was just beautiful. This is the first time in a while that music has caused me to tear up. You two have earned yourselves a subscriber. EDIT: I just listened to it again with my eyes closed and only focusing on the music. During most of it, I was just smiling and crying at the same time. This is probably the most emotion that a piece of music has ever made me feel. Actually, I think this is the most positive emotion that I've experienced in a long time. Thank you.
transitions were amazing as well as the song choices. At first I thought it was kind of lame without the other songs but I was so wrong when I began getting nostalgia and soon emotional. Thank you so much for playing this song!
After playing Deltarune, I just had to revisit some of the best tracks in the Undertale OST. Your cover on this is so expressive and unique, and brings back the memories of the direction the game took. This is an amazing guitar cover that I want to practice. You guys have earned a subscriber and fan!
When hearing this music u remembered something.. asriel.. toriel.. asgore.. sans.. papyrus.. undyne.. alpys.... hearing the song and remembering fills you with determination ❤
There was tabs in under the video but the tabs are written weirdly. They are written as if you had no capo on the the 3rd fret so you'd have to interpret it differently.
My soul had cried with this. It's so beautiful in so many ways that... I just can't describe it... maybe the Undertale main theme it's one of the most sentimental and full of feeling song I ever heard.
"...some of our favorite musical themes from the game Undertale." And it's the same leitmotif in all four songs you chose to play. I'm not bitching tho cuz this has helped me rest many a time. This was friggin lovely.
Guys thank you so much for making this. I'm a huge undertale fan and I used to play guitar. An accident happened and I dont play anymore, but when I listen to this i can almost feel the vibrations, as if I was playing it myself. So again, Thank you.
Bf sent me the link to this just a few minutes ago, and I've been a huge fan of undertale and especially the music since it came out. Have not seen this until now. I absolutely love it, and its amazing. U guys r geniuses
In all these years, I keep coming back to this masterpiece. 3:30 onwards never fails to make me smile and I still remember 5:18 onwards more than the official OST!
This beautiful piece of work needs many, many more views than it currently has. Thanks to Toby Fox and Ether to reminding us what real music sounds like!
Wow, can't believe I hadn't looked for guitar covers of these songs until now…! This is so beautiful… My two absolute favorite songs from the game and what nicely precedes and follows them thematically, all in the sound of lovely acoustic guitar, ah love that sound, wonderful medley. Today I woke up hating the heat of summer. Then I remember I saw this video in my recommended yesterday, and maybe some music would take my mind off of the heat. Thanks, haha, I nearly forgot how much I love the sound of guitar in summer… (it just feels like an instrument perfect for warm, sunny days to me. makes me nostalgic for summer). This is just such a good arrangement! I will definitely check out the rest of this channel out! ('u ' ) Hearing your favorite tunes in guitar fills you with determination.
This inspire me to practise guitar.... When i was in grade 9, and that was 2018... I am into rock but.... The first ear catching guitar song that i've heard is this song... And today i just found this video by chance, it is still vivid in my mind as yesterday...
When Hopes and Dreams hits.... *Chefs kiss* love this medley!! Undertale is still my fav game soundtrack of all time and you put such a unique spin on some of my favorite tracks. This is definitely going in heavy rotation on my work music playlist.
I almost can't believe how excellent this is. The diversity of styles, the consistent and various percussive sounds, the mix of high and low energy, the bouncing back and forth of melody and support, the clever arrangements, and of course the absolute skill that allowed you to play your parts perfectly or close to it. Going back through all your videos right now. You two are the epitome of acoustic guitar covers.
Can’t wait until I can do this! I’ve been self teaching myself how to play guitar for three days! And I am improving, and some day, I will be able to reach this! 😀
Simply beautiful from start to finish. Also I should say, everytime I see your videos, I'm always incredibly amazed by your talent for hive-mind-synchronicity. Yep I am speaking to both of you as one musical entity, because I'm convinced that's what you are!
One thing that we can all agree on is no matter how people play undertale music the soundtrack for undertale was immaculate one of the best of its kind and that’s what got people loving it even more not just the gameplay but the music was so fucking good
@@WithEther I remember finding you through the amazing Ace Combat medley. Then Al leaving, then coming back on vacation and I got so excited that you'd be together for a bit. Then you kept on creating even as you are apart. I'll always stay Ethereal as long as you both keep playing. :)
Guys....I have been listening to instrumental Undertale covers for months now and you have made one of the best medleys I've ever heard. Thank you so much for your love and commitment to the material.
DAMMIT, RU-vid INSTALL A *MILLION LIKES* BUTTON ALREADY!!! It's so frustrating when you think "this is so awesome, I should leave a like", then you realized that you clicked the like button 10 seconds ago... T-T
I think the mark of a good cover is when it can convey that same emotional impact as the original song, but still contribute something new. A lot of Undertale covers are good in a technical way, but don't capture the same feeling you get from the original song, and out of all the over produced, hundred piece orchestra, metal, a capella whatever versions of Undertale songs, I think this is actually my favorite. I also love the way the arrangement puts together all the tracks that use the Undertale lietmotif in a way that tells the story of the game from beginning to end and still makes a single, cohesive piece of music.
