Ikr? His attacks NEVER sync with the music, makes me wonder why they even bothered starting a new track every time an attack starts. The last attack is fine tho, that one does sync up
[rhythm game nerd] The offset in the fight feels like the issue, you're intended to hit way too far off of the beat compared to what would be on-time [/rhythm game nerd]
Yeah i agree there is almost 0 SYNC and i love the music that plays in a attaclkso if i wana hear winout suffering i have to search genocide the dancer Its like playing geometry dash with a music that the sinc says nah nah honey im good i should do my job but i probably should't *for those who don't know spanish el bailador means the dancer in spanish
Love the detail that Decibat's theme grows quieter every time you watch him, which confirms the music you hear suddenly starts playing every time Clover starts a fight and idk why, but it seems funny to me. 😂
Martlet mentions in some pacifist dialogue that when monsters get into a fight, music just starts coming out of them. I guess Decibat's theme gets quieter since they want to fight less and less as the fight goes on since they just wanna go back to sleep.
Can we just acknowledge how beautiful the game is?? Especially during Ceroba fight, and the scream during her final phase sent chills down my spine. There's more animation than in undertale itself! It took the concepts from fan games and animations of in game fights and made it a reality! The storyline of justice is beautiful as it begs the question of how *you* deliver justice, making Clover choose between justice or vengeance
I wonder how game based on second fallen human (after chara) would look like. I mean, there will be more mentions about Asriel, and MAYBE we would see Gaster
Tried this myself. The Axis fight has several different ways you can get RNG fucked into taking a hit - it really does feel like it wasnt designed to be no hit. The attack with the shuttles spawning three at a time with shines showing where they'll appear at 24:51 is definitely the worst offender - if you get one spawning directly 180 degrees from another, its completely undodgeable, and it can be stupid precise if you get a 140-170 degree turn you have to do.
Genocide route spoiler: Axis bombs are unpredictable and the part where he shoot beams and you have to find a blind spot through morose code was hard. Glad he turned into a u at the end.
I just did my first run of the game a couple days ago and Axis fucked me about hard enough that I can say it's probably the only boss that I had a genuinely bad time with
something that *gets* me about Undertale Yellow is that no matter what you do, no matter how hard you fight, you are going to end up where we see the souls in the end- in jars, in front of Asgore. Something so special about Yellow is that you almost forget that you already know how this is all going to end.
Ага, но как именно вы потераете душу: в бою с Азгором, чтобы выбраться обратно наружу, или сами отдадите свою душу, чтобы монстры были на шаг ближе к свободе.
@@АлександрТараскин-з8э That's why I love undertale yellow so much. It complements the official game so well and adds a context that gives your actions there much more meaning. Now you're not only carrying monsters' hopes and dreams, but also clover's wishes
Is extremely refreshing fangame that's doesn't involve any version of sans or papyrus this is what undertale actually knows for the character interaction the atmosphere the battle gimmick cute moment this is Toby fox actually wanting for fangame
After finishing the pacifist run i was abaolutely blown away by the quality of the game, but the final boss was a bit of a disappointment since phase 2 relied on RNG, it will either give you a near unodgable attack or an attack which is physically incapable of doing damage, and phase 3 was basically the same but it mixes up 3 attacks instead of 2
Yeah. That part where the hopes and dreams motif hits with Ceroba's scream is epic the first time. Not so much after you've died 20 times to the same bs rng attacks (also didn't help I didn't buy the deltarune pin because I thought for sure that necklace would be used for something later in the game).
For a fight that’s entire purpose is to be a tutorial for blue and orange attacks, Decibat has a fire boss theme. Honestly though, the entire soundtrack is fire
the extreme RNG for Cerobas final phase. for me she kept spamming 3 attacks simultaneously and was insanely difficult... yet somehow i aced the final phase, died a few times in the prior 3.
It's interesting how in Ceroba's pacifist fight, the diamonds usually release you with just enough time to dodge the bullets if you're good, but in her genocide fight they always hold you in place long enough for the laser to connect. And in general her attacks have the same elements and aesthetic (minus the yellow seals and bells) but used with the opposite design intent.
Wow, thanks for putting every single final boss on the thumbnail, where it’s impossible to not see them! That really makes it easy to avoid spoilers, especially for people who don’t have the time to play a game right away when it comes out!
I know this is probably going to be unnoticed, but, in Axis fight if you want to have an easier time with the orange laser when you are turning, holding the down key makes you invencible to the laser without the need to constantly move, so you can move freely or stay totally still without getting hit by it.
This makes me curious as to what flowey says when he totals up your death count and you haven't died at all. Ive only seen what he says when players have died a crap ton
Just an honest fact here: Ceroba in the pacifist route is the hardest boss in UY, and here is my take to proof the point as someone who played it (Got hit lots, but still managed to win): Martlet on Genocide is way more predictable, being the easiest of the bunch, her attacks doesn't repeat much, but it's two attacks at the same time in max, so it is easier to dodge and predict what is going to be next. Flowey on Neutral is harder than Martlet, sure, but easier then Ceroba since ALL of their attacks are shown in one round, just the sequences that are different from each round after each petal. And then there is the Malenia of Undertale Fan Games: Ceroba in Pacifist (And Flawled Pacifist) attacks on Phase 1 is predictable, but after that is just downhill chaotic, her patterns are too random and she uses 5 - 3 attacks per round, being too hard to read all of it once (If you didn't get it, that's why everyone here is surprised at this youtuber getting No Hit on her entire battle), I swear that the best strategy that I can tell to a starter at this is: Do not heal yourself on Phase 1 and, after each battle after that, heal yourself trying your best not to suffer any damage. Also, GET THE SILVER SCARF!
38:50-38:53 dude why does the soul speed up like that? is that a dash? (38:51 HE WAS MOVING ON THAT BLUE ONE THO?) I ain't jeaolus or something but that's SUSPICOUS RIGHT THERE.
The black hole in the center pulls me towards it. If you look, I didn't press the keys during the blue attack, the soul was moving to the center of this hole and it doesn't count as movement
Even 8 months later the game still has Problems of getting hit by RNG spawns during a fight mostly with Axis and A bit with Ceroba ones I remember are Sometimes an orb you need to block will spawn on the opposite side of a blue laser during one of axis attacks and Ceroba's 2nd attack if you go all the way to the bottom of a box to go into an opening of a pillar another will js spawn right under you and you js have to take it. It's stupidly annoying
El bailador was hard to beat cuz I'm not good at rhythm but I was determining myself but... it worked there determination made me win I beat it twice cuz I resented cuz I didn't have a high df I didn't buy anything in the shop just finding some or buying food and finding some defense and ceroba just keeping beating me up so I reset the route and I complete pacifist route
@@moroz549 it's not really... It is what happens when you kill Cebora instead of sparing her at the end of pacifist... There are much worse spoilers lol
10:27 какое в жопу "do not like dance as I"?!?!?!?!?!?!!???!?!?!?! Он идеально станцевал!!! Могли бы хоть реплику добавить, на случай, если человек круто танцует.
The only weak detail I noticed is lack of leitmotyfs. Imagine if boss batlle themes were cooler versions of already heared themes (Like with Papyrus, Undyne, Mettaton EX, Asgor)
Why, dude those are literally different characters. They don't even have a smallest connection to undertale characters. Yes, some of them are obviously inspired, but from the plot standpoint there's no sense for it.
Here are some that are apparent and some that I found: "Forlorn" (Dalv's battle theme) and "House Guest" (Dalv's house theme) "Justice" (game over theme) and "Showdown!" (Pacifist Route boss of "The Wild East") and "The Mothers Love 1st Phase (Pacifist Route final boss theme)(This one is not that clear 1.01) "Kanako" and "The Mother's Love" is pretty much what you described "Birds of a feather", "Protocol", "Apprehension", "Remedy" and "Retibution" - it is also what you described "Once Upon a Truthful Time" and "Mothers Love Phase 3", this one is obvious enough.
Don't worry, it's an ability you only unlock in the final bosses of each route. If you mean you didn't do that in the final fights though then I don't know what to say.
Honestly, it’s cool that you went through everything without receiving damage, but it was difficult for you not to skip dialogues in order to understand the meaning of the battles. It is sad.
They've probably gone through countless attempts by the time they finally succeed with the no-hit. Restarting everytime you get hit and reading the dialogue gets tiring after a while.
For some reason, this offends me, jokingly of course, seeing you no hit ceroba(exept that part that was unavoidable) makes me feel like im trash, i couldnt even get past her third attack, i choose to keep the silver scarff the entire game dispite being open to better gear, man, i really suck at thinking ahead, i thought she was my friend, i actually liked her, and then bam, i die to a FUCKING LEAF
@@itz_m1rai bro you are doing this to get your onslaught of me getting cancelled are you? Get a better life out there than getting in ties with someone else that I wish to not speak of, they out there deserve their purgatory to never escape from.
Окей, да, это капец сложно. Что касается ноу хита, я не у8ерен 8 с8их силах, я не предста8ляю как изучить и понять эти атаки так, чтобы можно было у8ернуться от 8сего
I complain about it way too much, but hey, what the heck. I feel as though Ceroba is EASILY the worst of the three final bosses, and feels really overdone overall. Don’t get me wrong, it’s GOOD. The story is immaculate, gameplay’s fantastic, visuals are unbelievable… but her personality seems very inconsistent (which is fair considering the aforementioned plot, but that doesn’t change the fact that it IS inconsistent), not to mention that it’s obviously the highest quality of the three, with some of the most fluent pixel art animation I’ve ever seen… but- I don’t know, she’s just… kinda lame compared to the absolutely incredible genocide final boss and the undeniable MASTERPIECE that is the neutral route’s final boss.
@@ByronZpaita If they got hit with a shield on it would just be no damage, not no hit. They just didn't get hit at all because the soul hitbox isn't 100% accurate to the sprite.
