Played this at 2.1x speed, I have to say I really do agree that it's worth it to lock up your fan favorite veteran players to very expensive contracts to retain fan interest! Who needs budget space when you have fan loyalty!

Can confirm Oneil Cruz is cheap and fantastic. PIT offered him to me for pennies and has since turned into the top 3B in the NL two seasons later. Also signed a cheap, long term contract. No doubt I'm getting him whenever I do a new playthrough
