@@goldteethpoohproductions2707they do it for likes because they are sheep and want to feel validated by literally coming to these comments every single day to say the same thing lol such a sad life
Especially when Gobert played good defense on Jokic. Unfortunately in one on one matchup great offense wins over good defense. Joker is unguardable by most players in the league. He cooked AD as well in round one.
Right as if the others stopped lower level guys like Gordon and how Denver stopped Mr "3 is the difference" lol. Can't believe how they're protecting and kat and Naz🤣
he’s been on for the whole season. you would think he would have studied up on the game by now. i can tell he relied on his athleticism rather than skill for his career
His lack of preparation and confusion is embarrassing. He did NOT seriously just forget about the western conference finals smh. Then couldn’t figure out if it was game 2 or 3 that Ant struggled.. how could game 2 even been an option in his mind when the wolves went up 2-0. Must be nice to jus show up and run ya mouth
Key is still a hater. When Joker dominates it’s only because Rudy doesn’t play defense? Maybe Joker is just THAT guy and no one in the NBA can stop him.
Thank you ! Ppl make it seem like gobert played bad and they use him as scapegoat . How about ant mane ? Shot 33% ? And gobert had 2 blocks , 18 and 11 rebs . Jokic cooking gobert shouldn’t be surprise. Nobody can defend jokic .
Of course, you can only try to slow him down stopping him seems impossible in the last 2 years. Jokic has the best IQ in the league along with Bron and other great basketball minds.
I totally agree but the timberwolves are not smart enough to beat a high IQ baller like the Joker and the nuggets. The Lakers have shown them the recipe to slow down Jokic, it’s to attack him on the defensive end just like AD did and cooked the Joker for 2 games and got him tired because He was making him play D. Michael Malone started throwing Aaron Gordon on AD. Minnesota doesn’t have a skilled big man like AD to tire Jokic out by making him work on the defensive end.
If you replace Rudy Gobert with Victor Wembanyama, he would have been able to slow down Joker. Blocked him four times that last game of the season with a Spurs victory. Victor Wembanyama is the True Defensive Player of the year. He makes his team infinitely and drastically better while on the floor. Rudy Gobert doesn’t make his already good defensive team defensively better. Wemby would have not stopped Jokic, but he certainly would challenge ALL of his shots and give him a hard time.
At least Racheal is appreciating the greatness of Jokic. Keyshawn just wants to talk about how Gobert didn’t play like DPOY. Give credit where it’s due. You’re witnessing one of the greatest big men of all time!
Correct. Rudy is a great centre. If the other players are doing their job and pushing guys into the paint, Rudy either blocks them or changes the shot. But Rudy has never been a good iso defender.
What more could RG do? He’s the DPY. And Jokic is showing just how unstoppable he is. No one could guard that. No one. And the fact that he’s making the DPY look that ineffective isn’t to the detriment of Rudy, but to the credit of Joker.
@@DontressSmith tell me one play where Rudy was out of position or flat out beat. He heavily contested every Jokic shot. Great offense always beats great defense
Key questioning and confused why Rudy is DPOY but when Rachel ask him who he would pick he still said Rudy 😂. Like he could’ve made an argument like skip on why Wemby could’ve been dpoy over Rudy. But he don’t watch games so he couldn’t have made one for any players. Jokic is just better player than Rudy as a defender what does he not understand
To be fair he's experiencing cognitive dissonance since in football the vmbest defensive players are always effective. In basketball, defense has been nerfed so hard it's just not very effective against the absolute best offensive threats.
That’s why I don’t get it. Wemby was literally blocking the shadows the last six or so weeks and still finished second. Thats why I call Bullshit Bee🫵🏿
Jokic didn't just score on Rudy. He was giving it to everyone, in every way possible. The ridiculous assists were icing on the cake. Thank you media haters for pissing him off. He is now silently killing them. His teammates love him, and are inspired by his Herculean efforts. Who better to go to war with than a leader who is the ultimate teammate. Gracious, humble, supportive, and self deprecating. They would all take a bullet for him. He is class personified.
My favorite thing about Jokic is that he looks like that one guy who shows up to the court and only looks as good as he is because he's so big/tall compared to everyone else but doesn't actually have any skill but Jokic is supremely skilled for his kind of lumbering style. It's like sloppy effortless finesse.
I agreed when they won the NBA Championship last year they ask hm if he going to enjoy the Parade he say rather he go home and to tend his horses. Playing basketball is second nature to him. He is very good at and this why he won the MVP this year.
When Shaq dissed Joker, he woke the sleeping giant, poked the bear, grabbed the tiger by the tail, played with fire, tugged on Superman's cape, spit into the wind, pulled the mask off the old Lone Ranger and messed around with Jim.
If the Timberwolves lose this playoff series to the Denver Nuggets, they should blame it on Shaquille O'Neil. Shaq told Jocic on national TV that he doesn't deserve to be the MVP. That was as classless as it can be. Jocic was naturally angry even though he didn't show it, instead, he let his game speak for him. Timberwolves paid a hefty price for Shaq's classless comments. After watching Jocic do his thing against the Timberwolves in the last three games, can Shaq now answer this question: did Jocic deserve to be the MVP?
@@Liam-ex4mfhe probably would but you also have to consider the rules and physicality back then. Ainge was beating dudes up, and he was a baller on offense
If you watched the game, Gobert played as tough of defense as he could! Jokic is just an unstoppable monster when he wants to score!!! Nothing anyone can do!
No one is stopping Jokic one on one, but they have to quit dissing Gobert. I watched him scare away about 10 layups for Denver. That's his value as a defender.
The joker has it all he's like McHale with all the moves around the basket he passes like Bird, and he makes the players around him better like Bird,a great team player a pleasure to watch.
@@kevinhawkins20since when has Gobert had the ability to put up 30 points? Why are people suddenly expecting him to do that? Anything to avoid giving the Nuggets credit I guess
Jokic torching Gobert doesn't invalidate his DPOY. He has torched AD, Bam, Draymond and Wemby too. Jokic vs AD last round: 28-16-9.8 on 59% shooting Jokic vs Bam in the finals: 30-14-7 on 58% shooting Jokic vs Draymond in 2022 without Jamal or MPJ: 31-13-6 on 57.5% shooting Jokic vs Wemby regular season: 34-10-8 on 60% shooting Jokic vs Gobert in the 2023 playoffs first round: 26-12.4-9 on 48% shooting
I think Jokic has made it personal with Gobert by proxy. After just winning the MVP, instead of just congratulating Jokic and leaving it at that, Shaq disrespected Jokic. I know we all like to have fun and say Jokic doesn’t really like to ball etc…but he does, otherwise he wouldn’t be as great as he is if otherwise. So, now he’s proving to everybody why he’s the MVP. He’s sending a direct message to Shaq and everyone else that said someone else should have won it by abusing Gobert. Yeah it’s personal but not with Gobert personally.
In French man's defense... most of those shots were ridiculous and i don't care who is defending, Jok is cooking them. The only way to stop him is to double and triple him, and then he cooks you again with awesome passes and 20 assists.
AD slept on for how well he effects the game defensively. I’m not even being bias he’s been robbed a couple times in my opinion. It should be a team award.
Media now making gobert the scrapgoat even though he actually challenged every shot heck Jokic did the same thing to AD because Jokic is the best in the NBA right now.
I don’t care what nobody says Jokic is the best passer best dribbler best shooter I’ve seen in anyone 7 ft or taller he is the best and most exciting player in the game now and he has the perfect coach as well with him
Keyshawn, please, for the love of god, stick to the NFL, just like Michael Irving. Let Skip debate the NBA with Pierce and Rachel, who know the sport far better than Keyshawn ever will!, At least Shannon Sharpe knew enough about the NBA to discuss it intelligently!
The Nuggets and Jokic are the ONLY team and player to actually have the words hate come out from national analysts about them. ive never heard it so widespread and obvious
Gobert was beaten by one of the best players to ever play the game. Period. I love and cheer for Jokic, but I won't roast Gobert. The fact is that Jokic is that good. He is amazing.
My question is, what was Gobert supposed to do? Its like blaming corner backs for not defending a perfect Mahomes pass. No one on the planet would have stopped Jokic last night. And thats what pisses me off. If it were LeBron who had a night like that the discussion would be "how great was LeBron?" but with Jokic the mindset is, this guy should be stoppable and people just arent doing it. Its like the mindset is Jokic isnt that good. He is the best player on planet earth. You are not stopping him unless he stops himself.
It cost zero to give the Joker his accolades! The man is a freak of nature with ultimate control, and stamina, and a phenomenal teammate with eyes behind his head!
I tried to educate people slow down on the average Edwards hype he's the fourth best player in the series behind Murray Gordon and Joker, I understand the media needs a new product to obsess about and make money but I value authenticity over profit
I don’t understand that narrative about Gobert. They talking like he ain’t good. Mutombo was a 4x DPOY and he had nothing against Shaq. When you go up against an alltime caliber player, there’s really nothing much you can do
Jokic is really good. I don’t know why that’s so hard to accept. Just from watching the game. Even if you don’t and look at his stats and the team success
Last night I watched one of the most impressive individual performances I have ever seen and instead of focusing on that as the discussion point, they spent 90% of this video talking about Rudy Gobert. No wonder this shows ratings are in the gutter.
@@oni_vergil7342 Only two players in the history of the league have ever put up 40 points and 10+ assists with zero turnovers in a playoff game. So no, nobody puts up that stat line.
Jokić is just that great. And also, I don't remember Gobert ever being an amazing defender in the playoffs for a longer stretch of games. Playoffs are a different thing compared to the regular season, plain simple. And that Serbian God just demolishes teams now.
When Jokic faces a great defender like Gobert it’s the same story every single time. It’ll look ugly for a little while… a quarter, a half, a game, or even a couple games. During that time, Jokic’s supercomputer brain is just buffering, figuring out how to make it work. Once he does, things suddenly flip and the Nuggets look utterly unstoppable.
Shaqs a mad genius. We all know Shaq hates Gobert, Shaq is also witnessing what we are watching. Shaq admires Jokic and knows that Jokic has a legitimate shot at being one of the greats, thats something that he can't stop, so Shaq toys with guys that he has admiration for. Shaq is defending his legacy and Kobe as well. Shaq doesn't want to here anything about a Jordan son when he played with Jordan originally first son, and more importantly he definitely doesn't want any one that's going to probably go down in history as a better player than him to loose anything to Gobert.
Jokic just embarrassed that Man last night He said the so called Dpoy can't guard me he's to small just took him apart made a mess of him 😤 hes the fradulent Dpoy he should be ashamed
