Undone Basecamp Review - A Week On The Wrist 

good review. mine arrived today...same as yours except with the black date widow. totally classy piece if you want something vintage inspired (and well done) along with your more serious actual vintage military or diver watches. only issue that glared a bit was having a see thru window with a rotor as shockingly plain as that.

May you check out EONIQ watches as well? Seemed like a cool custom watch site, but I haven't found any reviews done on youtube.

Good Review. I have just received my Base Camp, and think its a beautiful watch, It is a great size, neither too big or too small on the wrist, it has presence, looks great, and it is probably the most legible watch in my collection. The Seiko Caliber NH-35 is a decent and proven movement, not the most accurate in the world but great as a day to day knock about watch. To those that think it's a fashion watch or some sub par offering, I suggest you get a look at one in person (always good to know what you're talking about). There are two parts to my collection: the Swiss box and the Micro brand box. In the Swiss box I have a Rolex, Tudor, IWC, a couple Breitlings, a couple Omegas, and a couple Hamiltons (because I love the Khaki field watch and always wanted a Ventura). My micro brands include three other Undones, a couple great Dan Henry's (my favorite micro-brand overall), a Brew.... and (obviously not micro brands) a few of the classic Japanese pieces. I like watches, but am not fanatical nor a snob, preferring a watch that works well for its intended purpose, looks good, and gives me enjoyment to wear. I think its interesting that for work where I want to impress (I work internationally and wear a suit or dressier business casual), I will usually wear a simple Oyster Perpetual or Seamaster because they project an understated elegance. But when I'm at home, for day to day use, keep strapping on the micro brands because they are fun to wear. I can also be very rough on watches, spending a lot of time outdoors hunting, fishing, and mountain biking, and am not going to feel to as bad about thrashing $300 watch as I do about messing up one that cost $5k ! If I break it I'll just buy another. BTW: if somebody wants to define lack of investment value, look at what happens when you buy most (not all) luxury watches the minute you've walked out of the shop. If you buy watches as an investment you are either very clever and know a lot about watches ....... or you are neither. Buy the watch that makes you smile when you look at your wrist, and give the opinions of armchair critics the appropriate amount of attention.

I have mine coming in this week. I'm so excited!

I have two of them, ordered at the same time. The Lexan crystal is garbage. Either arrived scratched or got scratched within 3 days upon arrival.

I have very small wrists, do you think this would look silly on my wrists or would it not be bad? Furthermore the raised cystal makes it look like a kiddy watch in my opinion, what is your veiw?

I have been wearing mine a couple days now and really like it. Some people go on about the plain bezel, but it looks sharp on the wrist. I sent a note to Undone to say as soon as this watch is available with a GMT bezel, I'll order Undone watch #5

Hey Jon, that watch looks great! Lol if I could give some feedback I’d say that you should close the knife after you cut open your boxes! I’ve seen an unboxing video where someone sliced open their hand and had to get stitches! Don’t want that to happen to you! Anyways, thanks for another fair assessment of a brand! Love your videos

Finally a mechanical watch from them. Looks pretty cool. I wouldn't put a see through case back though. The movement isn't great looking

What is the point of that extra W I D E and index-less bezel? it mars an otherwise good looking watch and serves no purpose. Extraneous details go against the "tool" watch purpose/theme.

I bought one. It’s not worth the money.

Nice review, This looks really cheap, and definitely not worth the price tag. I can't believe a "rolex enthusiast" stands behind this brand.
