Wow you found some amazing material! The colorful jaspers, with the beautiful patterns are just amazing. Wow! And that beautiful moss agate! I can't believe the fabulous colors in these rocks. They range from yellow, green, to orange, to blue and red! All in the same piece of jasper! And that moss agate is gorgeous! I can't believe just how beautiful those jaspers are! And the druzy quart agate with the blue fortified agate, is amazing. But for sure, the jaspers are the stars of this show! Thanks for sharing! I've never seen jaspers so colorful and beautiful before in all my life.

Southern Oregon spring rockhounding is a sight to see. We are finding some incredible material and cutting it open to show off the hidden beauty inside. It's an absolute joy to find such fantastic specimens in the great outdoors. Check out what we found.

Where are these found???I haven't been able to locate any of this material in Southern Or.

What general area is this? It looks like somewhere in the Siskiyous, maybe Applegate area. I was born in Grants Pass spent many years exploring the area. That last jasper was wild! almost like a picture jasper, but with color!

We have been in medford for 3 days & havent found any good rock hunting areas. We have only 2 days left of our vacation, can anyone give a specific location so we dont go back with empty pockets? Please?
