Beautiful country. Surprised by the wildflowers and snow. Coolidge snow cones! LOL 😅

I keep looking at those flower pictures at 6000 to 7000 feet in late September. Pretty, but I don't think that is a good sign. I don't know. That canyon may be warmed by the Trinity Lake, or the dry lake bed.

Nasty little Boulder patch above Deer lake. Don't twist your ankle.
