Mount Toubkal is the highest peak in North Africa, standing at 4,167 meters (13,671 feet). Located in the Toubkal National Park within Morocco's High Atlas Mountain range, it's a popular destination for trekkers and climbers. The ascent is non-technical but can be challenging due to its altitude.
The trek typically starts from the village of Imlil, and climbers can reach the summit in two days.
The best time to hike is from April to October.
I had a completely amazing and unforgettable trip, even though I didn't quite get to the top of Mount Toubkal and my guide Hassen, only 24 years old was teeling me so much about these mountains and he spoke very good English, I felt safe with a local, as many locals from these mountain towns have climbed Mount Kal several times.
Remember to watch the weather forecast and dont come off sesson if you dont want to freeze
