On this adventure, we spend 4 nights winter camping in a canvas hot tent with wood stove out in the snowy Canadian woods. The trip didn't go quite as planned, as our first destination was a no-go due to a winter storm and bad ice. Plan B had us trek out to a scenic little lake and we had a great time ice fishing, cooking awesome meals over the fire and just hanging out. The early winter scenery was outstanding!

Looks like a great trip. I'd reccomed a Vexilar for ice fishing. Total game changer being able to see the bottom and your jig, and the fish.

Watched all 3, I think your edit squeaked out the win and the well placed food barrel sticker was noticed.

Sudbury is my home town though i haven't been there for 20 odd yrs . So i don't recognize the lake you are on . But the lousy fishing is noted . Better luck next time.

Yeah we tried. Apparently Path is decent for trout but it was out of season. There are some nice walleye lakes nearby we just couldn't get into.
