Regarding offense/ damage, this is true. But fighter/ vanguard was designed by Vanillaware to be a taunt/ provoke bot + tank arrows for allies character. Of course classes (like Snow Ranger and Dark Marquesse) that were intended to deal damage would outshine Lex in that area. The latter was designed to soak/ tank damage.
I would recommend switch. Levels are often short and you can also pause the game without consequences so it’s great if you want to take the game with you. It also feels like a great handheld
What surprised me the most was the voice acting, honestly everything else just made it an incredibly fun experience. This was my first vanillaware game, so I'm definitely looking at their back log now.
You can also choose one of your party members to give your unicorn ring to. I chose Josef (the game’s Jagen) as a joke but… Somehow it became an extremely wholesome experience
