I totally saw this happen to myself as well. What I find even crazier is that the game says "you will likely fail but you got a very small chance if you want to try cooking". My curiosity got the better of me, I went into it and then saw what was in there and my god is that an insane looking adventure to deal with. I definitely will just leave it until later but I still find it funny that it's just there and available to deal with.
4:15 you could do this in the demo, but it wasn't worth talking about. If you needed more corsite then you you could mine. You get the lvl 40 quests around the outskirts of the final area, but the demo version gives you a message that you can't attempt the missions in the demo and it turns you away if you try to walk into the area. Furthermore there seem to be multiple ways to get to the main area, not just the repairable bridges.
Want to say thanks for everything you do. I discovered you because of this game and you have been a blessing to me. I love these kinds of games but currently can't afford to purchase anything right now. I'm getting to discover and enjoy the story alongside you, and it's been fantastic.
Nice clip. I also had repaired the bridge in the demo but when I saw the requirement is level 40, my thoughts were just screwed it and come back later as I think it's probably end game or close to late game content. Glad someone have the courage to try it hahaha. Well I will be looking forward to your guide soon too Legman.
Saw the "Scarlett" cutscene and the mention of a gate sounds sooooooo Ogre Battle. I want to find out what this all means but I'm only just starting on the level 7 maps
I saw Tom’s first demo run, and thought to myself, “I know there’s Gameplay and Story Segregation happening here, but the fact we can take our time to rescue her and do basically anything we want first without apparent consequences…” ^.^’ I take it back, I TAKE IT ALL BACK! Please, have mercy O’ Great Galerius, you have my respect now - no, stop! Uncle, I said *UNCLE* so PLEASE STOOOOP!” O.o
my playthrough so far has had notable changes. the enemy teams use some tactics. during the demo they never consistently targeted the back row. play several hours yesterday, mages almost always hit the back line
oh huh I repaired the bridge pretty effortlessly in the demo lol. (they don't let you try this quest in the demo.) meanwhile you're finding all this stuff I sure didn't! I agree this looks nuts but I also look forward to someone inevitably having beaten this at L10 by like, Tuesday
So, this is a switch title? I sure hope remakes and revives (I would consider this a revived ogre battle) become more popular. I would love to try ffta2 or a similar game.
I'm not watching the video to avoid spoilers even if I'm not expecting you to put any but it's kind of obvious it's the final battle no? It's called unicorn overlord, Josef tells you it's going to be the final battle and everything. It's the first time I was wondering if there was NG+ planned for the game when I saw it in the demo to be honest. You can also seemingly do the 4 regions outside of cornia out of order I went to the North region for fun way before the story asked me to and recruited the 3 first units from there the main story of the region played normally basically. A lot of side quests might have several outcomes based on the order of things you do and if you have or not some characters. There's quite a few times where side characters pop out of nowhere to interact with your quest in a meaningful way I'm very curious to see what happens if you have not recruited them.
I'm not surprised. It's a soft wall rather than a hard wall from what I see in the demo. Not sure if that's what you're talking about, I'm assuming not. (Oh. *That* hard well. Never mind.)
Isn't the valor gain way higher than in the demo? I like it tho, in the demo I hardly ever had 3 points at the end of a map. In the full game I maxed out one time
Isn't the warrior valor skill just an AoE? Weird how just this one calss' valor skill scales if that's the case. EDIT: Oh nevermind I'm an idiot. I get what you meant now. Summon Warriors summons people on the map's level. My big doubt is how that helps level up my units if I go for the final battle early.
You can setup some lvs on the other lv 40 battles with a flier leader, summoning warriors on boss and then getting last hit if possible for fiest strike
