"For a time, I consider sparing your wretched little planet Cybertron. But now, you shall witness...it's dismemberment!" - Unicron to Galvatron, "The Transformers: The Movie" (1986 film)
Something tells me what you’re saying is common sense and you’re not that original. Something tells me you shouldn’t quit your day job or the night one either 🙄
I honestly like the rebooted knightverse, the characters look way better than Michael Bay did and the story makes more sense without the unnecessary dialogue, explosions and convoluted storyline. What they did with Bumblebee and continued it in this movie is much better than Bay’s work, plus, I have hopes for how Knight will handle the franchise since Unicron isn’t earth and actually what he is, the robot devil himself. I’m excited to see where this goes
There's something so chilling about this theme. I feel it might be the only piece of music that can fully capture the hopelessness of Unicron's arrival.
I pity the younger generation who didn't grow up with the original movie or had it introduced to them by their parents. Sure, it was designed to sell toys, but I LOVED the original- it was my first true introduction to Transformers and I got to bond over it with my father.
I've heard a rumor that according to Transformers lore Unicron was known to exist in all realities including our own reality. Here in the link below is exactly what many would say at that moment if Unicron appeared in our reality and started to devour our Earth: "Oh, shit, there goes the planet!" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YWRKaELXUsw.html
First time seeing this scene... is it really that short?? Isn't the movie like super long? Why'd they spend so little time introducing the villain? The original did a much better job with no expository dialogue. A lot longer & more disturbing too - we actually saw & heard people die instead of seeing a random planet only get partially devoured.
