I’m from Sumi tribe and I’m posted in Mon district. My job makes me visit many villages in Mon district and many of them are without proper basic amenities like road connection, water and electricity supply etc. but it’s not a surprise for me because many Sumi villages in Zunheboto districts are the same. To be honest, roads in Mon are better than Zunheboto. What GB Kahuto said about the Eastern leaders accumulating wealth in Dimapur and Kohima is true. Those same leaders built their houses in their villages like any other villagers, without luxury so their villagers might not know how wealthy they are. I think the pictures of their mansions in Dimapur and Kohima, their imported cars, their jewellery, their real estate and business etc should be made public or known to those villagers so that the Eastern population realise that Nagaland Government is not being unfair towards them vis-à-vis development and opportunities, rather it’s their leaders who are keeping the money for their own personal wealth growth. No good will come out of this. In fact, I fear that the worse will happen if those same leaders are left on their own. You are making a mistake, my dear eastern friends.

It's always educational to hear our GB Kahuto Chishi Sümi talk about various subjects. It is never boring no matter how long it is. He is doing the job of every backdoor appointed state government teachers by educating the Nagas. Give 10 percent of their monthly salaries to the man. 😅

In a world like yours where majority cannot over-rule one corrupted government, we will prove it right. No advance tribes can separate our brotherhood. Present status of Nagaland where Kohima as the capital city, No mercy on students, The house owners just greed for money and raise house rent as they like which is economically infeasible for students and treat them as prisoners. Whatever the GB sir said about the ENPO is 100/100 correct. Being myself from konyak community apprehensive about it . Besides whatever had been said by him what I'm concerned about is if some rogue elements create problems between the so called advanced tribes and the now ENPO in future..God don't bring Manipur situation here!

I as a eastern naga felt we will have a better chance to emphasize on our administration. Cause we will definitely see the results especially now that we don't have to depend on Rio and his stonge age corrupted practices. However, we should be mindful on whom we choose to lead us and be responsible for appointing the right person to run the autonomy

I am an eastern naga myself but i agree with GB Kahuto here. We still have a corrupt mindset and our representatives are a reflection of us public. Only the power and the elites would benefit from this and not the common public. May the good Lord have mercy on us cos our leader definitely wont.

What Mr. Kahuto said is very practical & should consider his vast wisdom. Here my concern is that local media channels are seeking perspective about the recently announced FNT which is very much appreciated. But, none to my restricted knowledge have come across media journals interviewing leaders/personalities from Eastern Nagaland about the cause; which is quite an underwhelming aspect.
There is no one who care and love Nagaland and Naga people more than Sir Kahuto Chishi. It is truly inspiring to see and hear Sir Kahuto voice out on behalf of the whole populace and sad at the same time that there is not even one who more truer and brave as Sir Kahuto. Its not predictions, its assumptions. It is his opinions which is to the bulls eye. We should not hate him but take his words as a precautionary measures and rebuild the ruins of FNT. The present generations are fully aware of corruptions. Let us all work with integrity and show the world what we can to the society. Taking negative sides from any person's personal views will only make the world worse. But taking it in a reverse way with wisdom can truly help mankind to see a new dawn of civilization.

You are right sir...I have been writing this everywhere about why Nagas have to fear imposing UCC in our Land....??? Parliament may pass a bill but Nagas have protection under 371(A) and we can see clearly that Nagaland and India formed a union under 16-Point Agreement and we are part of FEDERAL structure ( unlike any other states formed under India by way of instrument of accession ) ....The first thing we need to understand is the parliament may pass a law but unless the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) pass a law it won't become a law....As a society all the Indians need to know why Nagaland have been created as a state...read 16-point agreement which was signed between Indian Government and Naga people's conference..
