Unimog 406 as a sledding track maintenance machine 

Is there an universal solution to moving a large and heavy truck trailer, hauling 500 US Gallons of diesel fuel high into the forest, driving a manure spreader into a field, providing power for a stable machine, plowing an icy road, transporting a load across a swampy meadow? Of course, there is one, and it is called the Unimog. This is how the prototype of the small off-road truck was named in 1946 (UNIversal-MOtor-Gerät - universal motor device). Mass production was begun in 1948, and three years later the company was taken over by Mercedes-Benz. Unimogs are still being produced and are still synonymous for the indestructible all-purpose machine. We confirmed that everything written above is true with the 55-year-old Unimog 406, which is the main assistant for maintaining the sledding track at the Jesenice Sledding Club.
