That "new" design with origin in 1977 has a very quit and comfortable cabin compared to the older design. You can still hear engine, transmission and tires but no need for earplugs ;-)

The meaning of "%" is :divided by 100.. a climbing rate of 110% means that the terrain will elevate 110m (ft) per 100m (ft) in the horizontal. So 100% equals an angle of 45° 110% is about 48° (arctan1.1)

Based on theoretical knowledge only I'd say the Mog is more nimble and can deal with more extreme situations, while I think the Tatra's have more power and grip if you take a model with more axles. The tatra will get you on the other side of the forest in less time, but the Mog will be more likely to get you on top of a mountain I'd say. The Mog is more like a tractor while the Tatra's are more like trucks.

I just want a set of there axles.

Anyone still thinks of hummers? :) Fortunately its easy to get those axles in Europe, most I've seen them stuffed in to old range rovers. :)

@potsmoker5000 and i would be happy, if i got one to sell it to you. I love this vehicle, we got it in the army, it looks like a normal truck, but is one of the best wheeled off-road vehicles around.

i can hear the tires in the video when it was on pavement, wonder how much tire noise the driver can hear.
