In August 2000 I was fortunate enough to be on the 'Union Limited', running from Cape Town to Willowmore on the Little Karoo. This is a record of the forst part of that journey, going to Somerset West, then up Sir Lowry's Pass, back to Wolesey, The next day the train ascended the beautiful Mitchell's Pass to Prince Alfred Hamlet, then back to Wolesey and on to Worscester where unfortunately my video camera failed. In the film you will see 15F no 3153, GF Garratt no 2401, GO Garratt no 2375 and 25NC no 3407. I hope you will enjoy re-living my experience with me.
