Red I really enjoy watching your videos.

The old statement you go away for just a short time and look what happens while you're gone. The new ties are in place the old ones laying by the side. Suddenly you inherit all these rails strange they would leave them by you with all the other room they have. The colorful consist on the general Freight kept it moving. I wonder if the bigger gondolas up front are headed for those steel wire loads like last time. Always good to see the CN trains including the little local bending off. The other was an almost all tank car train with only two covered hoppers. So far the mosquitoes haven't come out overly harsh but we're really short on fireflies. Seeing all that muddy water in the back tributaries Volume Plus the sickly looking corn where the standing water had been points out the abnormal weather so far this spring and summer. I really like the overhead of the Harvester working the field and especially the Symmetry the tires left where it turned around. One thing with all the layoffs at various Deere plants it's a shame they're so concerned about their golf tournament while the worker and farmer get dusted. Time to stock up on the.OFF again

Thank you for the video, Red. We had a couple of good mixed manifests today. I like the shot of the second one in Waterloo, where it was silhouetted against the sky at twilight! Very good catch. Un 3082 is a hszardous substance not otherwise specified. It could be many different chemicals that aren't otherwise specified as a proper shipping name. It could be a carcinogen or a marine pollutant. Nothing you'd want to mess with! UN 3475 is gasoline with more than 10 percent ethanol. Thanks again for the video and scenery. I really enjoyed it! Thanks for the vid Red. That first train had quite a power mix. The Osage sub known as the Albert Lea branch in my day. Have a weird story from the Track Supervisor (many years ago) of a "derailment" on that branch that maybe someday I can share with you.

I hear ya about them skeeters. I live out in the desert in So Cal. no skeeters, very dry, but other bugs. Liked the rye harvesting. Never saw that before. I eat only rye bread. It's very good for the body as opposed to wheat because some have allergies towards it 🌾🌱🌱

You did not have much action on 12 July 2024 at Montour, Iowa, Red. Did more trains come past your camper trailer later in the day that we might see in a future video? From your drone footage that you took of the first bridge over the Iowa River, it looks like that track panel that the Maintenance of Way crew built on the north side of the tracks across from your property in Montour replaced the old track two on the bridge. The Canadian National Cedar River train is a train that you occasionally catch. You caught Canadian National train #L570 at a new location. Thank you for including the farmer harvesting the rye.
