Hi Steve, I`m all excited about Snap-On Train`s new Randalph Sleeper Gearbox. Not only is it suitable for O gauge but works with O.D. Trans. This will provide an opening to upgrade to my vintage tin sleepers. Check it out.
That’s an old set made by Custom Signals and Ross I believe. The client had it sitting in storage and asked if we could incorporate it. Worked pretty well!
I thought so. If you come across a set of those in the future please let me know. Anyways, really nice work and I look forward to your next installment.@@StephanLambAssociates
Your company did a amazing job on this layout. I’m curious how you handle the seam where two sections where scenery was applied before delivery so that the sections can be separated. Incredible job on the turntable and roundhouse and a wonderful idea to put the controls in side the building and to have it covered by the roof when not in use. The Big Boys in the prototype also overhung the turntable bridge. What method do you guys use for getting the lighter mortar lines like on the roundhouse?
The foam scenery sections are designed to come apart at our shop and have seams. But once we install the layout, we fill the seams in if they are noticeable. Sometimes in certain areas we can disguise seams without needing to patch them at the clients house.
