Stretch pant has nice fit, seems comfortable cut at thigh, you mention hight and weight which is similar to me but according to my age 60, I need little more comfort at upper part, love to comfort in pockets, because of cell phone and wallet, keys etc
I tried both on and they fit terrible. Why this lower leg tapering and baggy on top/thighs? Why can't you make a regular straight leg jean like some years ago Uniqlo? Why only elastane selvedge? Uniqlo I was a regular costumer purchasing multiple pairs of your selvedge 100% cotton Kaihara denim jeans until approx 2017. The cut was nice fitting, straight for a normal(not overweight) men constitution. The denim was crisp, wore nice in time, like a classic jean. Price was incredible around 35 euros. After some years when I wanted to buy again I figured that the UNIQLO jeans cuts changed and also selvedge fabric started to contain elastane. The regular cut is absolutely terrible, baggy around waist, heaps, thighs and tapered below knee. The slim cut(elastane selvedge denim) same size I cannot even zip it up, and I am fit (not at all overweight). If I try one size up it will be baggy. Uniqlo you ruined one of the few classic successful products(the selvedge denim jean) with these changes. Why?? To follow the fast fashion trends? To appeal to teenagers only? Too bad you pushed away all 20+/30+/40 aged people that grew up discovering your once upon a time quality products. They are the ones being able to make sales. Frankly I have a hard time finding among your products something that fits well/smart. That follows the body contours, is made of quality/consistent materials and not fitting like clothes are hanged on a pole looking like a sack of potatoes. Uniqlo you could have kept your classic jean and would have sold even for a higher price. Bad decision to discontinue it.
How does the Uniqlo regular selvedge compare to Levi's 505 non-LVC (fit, quality)? I too think the Uniqlo is a bit baggy but it's like 50% cheaper than Levi's. I also have a very old Uniqlo regular non-selvedge (10+ years?) which I like, slightly too low rise but less baggy than current version.
@@Klaxet thanks for sharing your opinion. I’ll keep checking the Uniqlo jeans as they seem to tweak cutting or launch special lines quite often. One thing I want them to improve though is making front pockets deeper to fit a bigger phone well when I pull up the waist.
Based on my personal experience, the raw unwashed Uniqlo regular fit fits more like the 505 at first; but once washed, it will shrink into a tighter (but still relaxed) 501 fit.
I bought a pair of the slim fits in my true to size, however they are a bit tight/ constricting but mostly around the waste. Is this something that should be solved by sizing up or something that will solve itself with wear and after the break in period? Any input would be helpful.
@@onyxsinistergaming5923 not really, I went ahead and donated them. The fit over all was just too slim. If I’m wearing selvedge jeans now, it’s the steady eddy II from nudie jeans. Still slim but comfortable.
@@Klaxet 33й тогда точно. Тут просто с размерами не все очевидно, если у левис фактический от указанного отличается обычно на 0,5-1 дюйм, то у юникло отличается ровно на 2...
