with all the nerfs to basic pet maintenance, perhaps my style of mends by feeding will stop getting me called old school. i farm leather, so fast healing pet by feeding has been a successful method for years. also it seems to me that every new exp changes pets to the point where what was best before isn't as good now. tank pets to solo wasn't a good fit for me bfa. my two best were my cat from darkshore, and my black n red unicorn from broken shore. both hit like a truck, and seem to be nearly unkillable. keep a few stacks of food in bags, you may be surprised how nice it is not waiting for a mend cd. we need soul eaters to be tameable. imo coolest looking new thing in sl.

Love my Smokingoat. Use him with Cracklefang all the time. And my saddled Drakkthari raptor from Draktheron keep. Do wish they would update the model. Think I'll go get one of those red saddled raptors though- match my mount from the Island expeditions- just color reverse. Love your videos- so many streamers go way too fast on these. You take your time and are clear.

Not sure if you have a ton of buddies in a guild on whatever server you play on but you should consider making a hunter on Medivh and play with me and my buddies.

I used Finn's Gambit(rare pig) for years as it was one of the old original models until recently they updated the skin to a horribad armored Hearthstone model. :(

One of those armored raptors is definitely going to be my go to pet for awhile, just gotta figure out which color to get. Great video, would love to see a video with the wounded pets like Chartusk.

No taming guide specifically. Just location guides and guides for special tames. To tame you just have to identify the creature to make sure its tameable them channel your taming spell 👌

Well I don't play MM BUT! I can definitely recommend some non-exotic pets for both BG and arena. I do play SV and there are a few pets that stand out among the rest. I'll write the idea down now 😎 thanks player!

Farmed Arcanus (in Winterspring) this week. Hound is very similar model. Cloud serpents took me about a week to get exalted, but I didn't farm eggs so probably could have gotten sooner. Cloud serpent models very cool though. Working on class mount atm.

@@xBLUMONKEY Looking like rep buff is gone? Ran dailies, farmed some eggs on timeless isles (never found any onyx) and took my time. Commendation at revered made a huge difference. Tsulong not working for me, so ran double Elegon. Good variety of tameable cloud serpents which is nice.

didnt know about the ridgeback alpha, def gonna go get him right after i finish this comment XD, i have all the tameable ghost-like pets so far but him i guess XD. I never knew the hydra spirit from scholazar was still tameable as well until last week. I swear by the time shadowlands is half way through I'll need more stable spots haha

@@xBLUMONKEY yeah man all mine are. Once it went live I went a taming spree lol. Got on Petopia and looked up pets that are unique and went after them all hardcore for last 2 weeks. Only one I can’t seem to snag is pridewing patriarch and manas (unique dragon hawk in winterspring) trigore took me about 5 days to catch again, pretty well done on alliance hunter for awhile other than the 2. Been picky on horde hunter though, just wish those undead horses on tol Barad were tameable but I’m happy with precious and stinky 😂

It matters if you want to max your potential. If you're just doing heroic dungeons/raid finder/questing, not a big deal. But if you want to do high endgame stuff then picking the right pet is pretty important, think of it like a mini subclass. You want to find the right combo of pet family abilities/special abilities/exotic abilities (bm only for exotic pets.) I have many videos on the channel about this, but I'll link one for you, gimme a sec..

Rare spawns are overrated, you are actually more likely to have a unique pet if you use a common pet as every hunter, especially BM hunters, will be camping for those rare pets.

Fetch is still a thing, just leveled a new hunter and you can snag it from your order hall. Can’t learn until 46 though.
