Fyi for the hunter spicy bois lookin to tame some of animals that may be lower lvl, you don’t need to remove ur armor, or try and fist fight it. Open your toys and equip your foam sword, this also works for soloing lower lvl content you missed along the way, happy gaming all
Lets get the facts straight: Rodents have exactly the same set of abilities as Raptors plus they are smaller and less often being focused down by enemy players.
I wouldn't say they get targeted any less... They do have the same abilities tho as people have pointed out, I classify raptors a "must have" because they look way cooler and have more models 🤙
One of my favorite combination looks on my bm hunter is the poor experimented hydra with the 3 arms and 2 heads next to guarm the hydra hound. Having all those heads flailing about is fun to watch.
Thank you for your work on these videos. Transitioning from vanilla to Shadowlands took some time getting used to, and your videos helped that process go much smoother.
My personal favorite non exotic pet are the new bird of prey somnowls introduced in the Emerald Dream patch of Dragonflight. There’s a ton of random combinations of physical traits amongst them including colors, antler style, tail length, eyebrow plumage, etc. I personally tamed the Somnambulant Ori rare which is a sort of minty green with the loppier ears, short tail, and larger antlers. He didn’t keep his name upon tame for some reason so I just named him Pipo. I always have Pipo in my active pet pool since he’s usable when I occasionally have a Survival kick or if I’m running legacy content (cunning pets give a slight movement speed bonus). The somnowls also have some really unique animations due to them having a brand new rig, they have a special ability where they can perform a little trick where they find a worm and throw it up into the air before catching it, and they actually run on the ground instead of being stuck in a permanent flight animation! Somnowls are just a really neat addition to the game and I believe more hunters should use them. Also I’m aware this video was made before Dragonflight came out, but I need to spread the word of Pipo to the masses.
Thanks for the tips!! I was able to easily get two Gorillas at level 32 within ten minutes after starting the Zandalar campaign, now back to the mists for a bit
Really enjoy your explanations - often things I hadn't considered with their abilities. Plus I now have a couple (the last two) to add to the collection! Thanks. Particularly like the bird.... how'd I misse that one!
@@xBLUMONKEY Good question. I could very well have it on one but not my most favorite hunter (LOL!). I have a few hunters from back in the day when racial abilities meant more and you could only have 4 pets? So.... different collections on each to some degree. Going to watch you Survival video again as I think one needs to give that a go too!
Love my Reban, got him after one of your previous videos... I love arena's and this guy has been my go-to! Such a cool looking raptor! Keep up the awesome content dude 👌
Glad I could help! And thanks for PROPERLY abbreviating my name lol unfortunately tho I don't make WoW content anymore, plenty of vids up on the channel tho 🤙🤙 thanks for the love mate!
Hey! what's the addon that lets you have that clean overlook off all your pets? I HATE the current stables and its one of the things that holds me back from collecting pets again, as its usually something I really enjoy on my hunter. Anyways, great vid!
I see that you mention often PvP, could you do a video maybe looking at each specs and what they're good at/bad at in PvP settings and some basic comps with hunter for 2v2 and 3v3 as well as what's your role in PvP settings ?
I'll meet you halfway. I'm not too deep into the arena scene so I wouldn't feel right talking about comps and such without the experience behind it. But I do BG pretty often. So I'll do a video on each of the pet specs regarding pvp and how you should adjust your playstyle around them 🤙
@@xBLUMONKEY that would be great ! :o I used to play hunter back in mist but I barely see any hunter PvP content and I noticed you said you do PvP often so I think your input would be great ^^
i just got Irewing on an alt on another server while i was working on getting the mooseheads, and grey elves unlocked as i did the achieves on my alliance main. i now have all legion allied races both factions. got to 45 doing mostly exclusively class quests. was interesting seeing events from the other faction. starting the bfa stuff now. btw never used the chromie thing. i'm testing a theory, that chromie ruins the drops from rares, or blizz simply removed the loot tables. will know soon.
What am I going to do with out ya Blue - Just tamed one of these guys and shooting for another one this week -Thanks for your Great Vids it is making my life so much more enjoyable and the game also..lol
Thanks boss! Yeah idk man haha I guess you'll just have to watch reruns 😂 jk of course but hey I'm still making upcoming rpg content if you're on the lookout for new games 👌 until then, good hunting!
Just a question but let's say 2 beast mastery hunters are piping together and both have pets with mortal wounds. If they attack the same target will the target have 50% reduced healing or just the 25%
im not sure i understand the question.. if youre asking what id like to see for a 4th pet spec/family, a cool passive would be a small amount of focus generation 🤷♂️ cant think of an active ability off the top of my head, check out last weeks video tho! I talk about a lot of stuff I'd like to see change with pets 👌
@@xBLUMONKEY yes we have the current pet families but what if there was a new one perhaps healing pet family or a mobility family or perhaps a buff pet family or shape shift or stealth family i think we could do with a bit more variety.
Love it blue! Great vid as usual. Best hunter content. I have the gorilla, silver bacl and he's helped me many a time in torgast haha. Oh I don't have the undead bird! That's cool. I do have the parrot. Felbound wolf 🤤 need. Ah thank you for the how to tame too. For the undead raptor, would you please be able to do a quick vid (if it's not too much trouble and time consuming) or point me to one if one already exists, that shows you how to tame it solo from the dungeon please? Haven't run it, but isn't it part of the boss fight, so a double tank situation? If its just a enter fight, click tame, then I'm good lol.
Glad I could be of service! Thats actually a good video idea cuz there are some intricacies... I think that'll actually be next weeks video, stay tuned!
@@xBLUMONKEY Ah man, that'd be amazing :) yeah totally, thats what I'd heard so I have not yet attempted it. Oh do you have your discord set up yet? - One i'll be hoping to jump into right away ^^
tysm for this video i just started playing WOW again and did pick up shadowlands...i usually quest on my own and i am a BM hunter so 2 tanky pets or something similar would be ideal!! any suggestions let me know tysm again and sub'd ♥
Welcome back to wow! For your pets, first of all, the one in your stables doesnt matter. the secondary summoned pet doesnt benefit from its pet spec or get any of its abilities unfortunately, but for your primary definitely take a clefthoof 😎 its the tankiest pet in the game!
@@xBLUMONKEY tysm for responding i have been using old clefty and she does very well i am needing some info on hunter rotation tho my dmg not so good! :( perhaps you have or can make a video on this!! "hugs" ♥
I have gone into there and the only one I see is one that I have to fight, they are not all over the place. can you be more specific where in there they are?
Raptors in general are all over, is what I meant. The undead raptor, as mentioned, spawns in the kings rest dungeon. Next weeks video is a guide on how to solo the dungeon and tame the pet 🤙🤙 stay tuned!
Oops haha dang I don't remember specifically. You're not talking about the one outside the raid right? The one that flies around? He's hella hard to engage. When I went to tame mine I went inside the raid and found one pretty quickly and definitely saw multiple. I'd say just keep progressing through until you find one that's tameable. I don't remember having to fight any... Sorry if that doesn't help much! 😬😅 good luck tho!
