Interesting stove. However you can quite easily make something similar from a boot/shoe polish tin, with the metal gauze from a kitchen sieve and rock wool loft insulation as the material (all things which should be easily available from local shops or by raiding the house - although the wife wasn’t happy to find a large hole in her best kitchen sieve 😀)

Cheers for the video, stove seems out of stock on Amzn. Did a quick search for a "Slide Lid Metal Tin Containers" on Amzn which are available, will have a go at making a version myself as I do have some carbon felt and mesh left over from other projects , so cheers for posting the idea behind the stove. If I didnt have the spare bits it might be cheaper to wait until the stove in review is back in stock.

Thanks for the intro to such a fantastic alcohol stove. This one puts me into the double digits for alcohol stoves, you can never have too many:). Aside from a stove, this size stove looks like it would make a great primer stove for some of my wood stoves.

recently accured 1 of these burners of this size. the additional item it had was a 1 inch hole cut in the center for a simmer flame. next the mint tin shaped like this, (no hole) are smaller in size to where you can fit 2 in a esbit stove like this. the tins are available thru office depot at there candy aisle area.

These little burners are pretty cool. I made something similar with a round tin, screw on lid and fire rope. Not as big as this one though.
