@RUPEETRADER shows how much respect you have for music... guitar is not the only instrument used in music...whole bunch of instruments from minor to major is used for making a music & every instrument has equal importance in making the music perfect whether it is major or minor instrument....so before calling the instrument stupid see yourself in the mirror, you are stupid.
It is in many regions and cultures around the globe. Even in the northeast you'll find bamboo and wooden variants amongst many tribes and races almost in all states. The Assamese also has the similar sounding bamboo based Gogona which is an integral instrument of Bihu folk songs.
