In Canada, I’ve seen these “Choose One” game cards for the Switch. Basically it’s a code that gives you 1 of 3 games of your choice when you redeem it. I think that’s a good way to give somebody some options if you want to buy them a game
Only if they have a game they want or don’t have already. I think gift cards are the best because they get to buy whatever they want. That or if they have been complaining about controllers an amazon gift card could pay for new joy cons.
Here in Spain I've been seeing a lot of switch bundles that give you the option between 3 Sega games for 310€ (10€ more than just a switch). 2 of those are mediocre sonic games but the last option, wich is a Sega compilation, is actually a pretty good deal
I really like Skinomi screen protectors. They're not tempered glass but a "skin" that does a phenomenal job of protecting against scratches. They also will send you out a free replacement if it gets damaged somehow or you botch the installation.
I found this channel when looking up games to buy after I bought myself a Switch in 2017.. It's been an incredible journey, but I miss the old intro haha
They might get flak for being cheap, but Skullcandy is a good alternative. I got the Hesh over the hear headphones and they don't sound half bad for the price
What I don't like is when headphone makers up the price on there headphones so that people will not think they are cheap crap when they are only decent headphones and so they end up not being worth the money.
@@bland9876 well it depends but what if you get headphones on black friday discounts. I have used 4 skull candy headphones and I have to say... really good bass horrible materials they break so easily 😞
I'd definitely never say no to getting amiibos of games I like even if I never use them. Figures are always welcome haha and also never gonna say no to extra joycons because I have an unhealthy obsession with wanting all the colors
I'm so glad they turned on Bluetooth audio on the switch one of the best things to come out of this year I bought a $20 headset at Walmart made by Sony
recommends a load of cool official, third-party, and unlicensed Nintendo products doesn't talk about the awesome Pikachu sweater he's wearing That stings, mate lol
A controller I would reco is the AmiiPad. Has all + built in amiibo. Updatable and it's all programed by them. For smash not good as of now. Other titles works fine as like any other controller.
What a great video! I love all the video shots and editing :D Well described each item too I have a tomtoc slim case for my switch and love it! The perfect way to carry my switch when I go out :) I get it for all of my friends
If you plays Splatoon with friends, get the SteelSeries 3 Bluetooth. You connect your wired connection to the switch, and the Bluetooth to your phone, to talk to your friends while playing.
The SD card & gift certificate are absolutely the best advice for parents short of yelling pokemon at them. PS What I want to see you do soon: •PaliaMMO talk about on your podcast •Best New 32bit and under looking games on switch
Kinda wish we had an ad for this video where it’s two bob’s, cuz those are always entertaining, but those are probably a lot of work, so you can’t do it all the time. Don’t want to overstate the amount of Bob you’re getting in one video after all
Finally got 2 Switch OLEDs. I never had a Switch before and am pretty excited. They had a stack of them at Kohl’s department store by my gf’s house in NY.
Worth noting that for the Genesis, N64, SNES and NES controllers you'll need to have an active Switch Online subscription before you're able to purchase them from Nintendo. Otherwise a very helpful an enjoyable guide!
Bhob where did you get the flat gold joy con shell no one makes them anymore they used to make them when they first came out with the switch but can’t find a new pair
A word of advice for those buying custom Pro Controllers or Joycons...if you see anything that's light colored such as white or pastel colors and labeled as "Soft Touch," RUN and do not waste your money. Buttons or shells alike, they will both eventually discolor whether it be within hours or months of use. The only luck I've had with anything soft touch was when I encased my switch/joycons in a plastic hard case which is very inconvenient for things like cases or the joycon grip included with the Switch. The soft touch is most commonly seen under the ExtremeRate brand or a lot of pre-assembled customs (who are purchasing the ExtremeRate shells) on Etsy. I'd hate for people to go out and spend $100+ on pre-assembled custom joycons or buy the shells and risk hours of their time just for them to turn into something that looks like a toddler eating Cheetos got ahold of.
@10:57 I can see notches cut in around the analog stick. Where did you get that done? I clicked on your amazon link but it shows that case to be smooth. Thanks and great video as always
I really enjoy this channel! I keep noticing all the little details to make it very pleasing to watch! It’s also nice learning about all the different products for the switch.
Thank you for pointing out the refurbed docks. Last I looked(a long time ago) they were like $120. I nabbed a refurbished dock with a new AC adapter. Didn't feel comfortable getting a previously broken power supply to a system that are now sold out everywhere again thanks to Xmas. I like having a function Switch. lol Luckily I have an really good aftermarket HDMI cable from my Series X, I sold to a friend for their son for Xmas. I play my PC anyway. Still want a PS5. Wulff Den Do What Nintendon't!
An awesome wireless headphone deal is the skullcandy sesh i use em while on the motorcycle and they block most of the wind noise so if you use em for the switch you'll be set
The refurbished docks me and my friend got has the bend where it can scratch the screen, mine was worse, i prefer removing the internals of the dock then putting it in an enclosure that doesn't scratch the screen
I would love to watch a coffe tutorial made by you (or videos with that tematic), i want to enter the coffe world and i think it would be great doing it with your way of explain things. Grettings from Chile
The Split Pad Pro is still the best set of handheld controllers imo. And now Hori is coming out with a grip to let you make them into a wired controller, so they're even better.
I think the ring fit is a best seller because it is popular in Japan, the home country of the Switch. In Japan, many people in the morning have a light stretch/exercise routine. Switch gamifies that daily ritual that many Japanese have. (source: Japanese friends I made in my study abroad)
Has the OLED given up yet? I've put in 2 hours and personally will probably be all I put into handheld till you show how bad it gets and how long it takes to get to that point. I'm a very anxious person. And it's not the cheapest thing in the world to just have break from being on alone...
My mother will give me the Zelda Game and Watch and the 8bitdo SN30pro for Christmas. Now I can't wait, because my PC Controller broke this morning.....
I have a question...maybe a dumb one. If I want to upgrade my SD card and get another one, will I still be able to download back all the games I've previously bought along with the saved data?
there are no stupid questions, only stupid people - that one dude from South Park To answer your question, yes you can. The save data is on the system memory
Yep. If you don't have cloud save. Copy the whole SD card over to the new one and you're good to go. More space = add more titles without redwlding them again.
I'd just recommend copying the files from the old one to a PC, then from the PC to the new SDCard. It works perfectly and let's you keep Splatoon 2 saves and screenshots.
If they like animal crossing, the DLC for it, Nintendo EShop gift cards or another set of joycons and joycon chargers, switch game cartridge cases, tempered glass screen protectors, the animal crossing Amiibo cards. You could, if you know what characters they like, find them on eBay, Amazon and Etsy since some people bulk buy the booster packs to sell any repeats.
