At this point, I feel like the Apocalypse and Union tank should just switch names. The biggest tank in the soviet arsenal not being the Apocalypse just feels wrong.
Well, think of it this way, even if you could survive the apocalypse (which to the soviets is fictional religious jargon anyway), you wouldn't survive against the might of the Soviet Union(which is very real).

This tank is literally everything i ever wanted from a revised union heavy tank honestly. it feels once again as with most things in this mod as if it was plucked straight from my mind considering just how perfect it is. The only thing i can imagine to improve it even more, if that's even feasible would be if the firing positions worked a bit like the multigunner turrets when garrisoned so that when a tesla trooper is added a small tesla cannon appears on one of the sides, flak troopers add flak cannons etc.
So this is a super heavy tank with a short charge up on its main gun, no native AA, and the ability to garrison units. The Tesla Cannon seems to have a AoE when hitting vehicles and the arcs can one shot most infantry, or deal a portion of the main cannon's damage ro nearby enemy land vehicles. The garrison can hold 4? 5? units. This is giving M.A.R.V. nostalgia. What did I miss?
It seems to me that the tesla cannon deals damage over time, and generates arcs over time as well, the longer the shot lasts the more arcs it creates. Thats why on infantry only creates a single arc and on vehicles it generates a lot of them
Let's hope it's still under development. Why does it move so slow and not just teleport instantly? Why is it so small it can't roll over buildings? Where's the cloaking, flying and swimming showcase? Why does it take more than one shot to kill all the enemy units and buildings on the map?
I like that this looks very similar to the MARV. It's cool to see modders keeping up the tradition of overlap between Red Alert and Tiberium universes.
Как по мне, реворк Союза был бесполезен. Ибо, если раньше танк выглядел логично и понятно, имел конструкцию, что реально возможно создать, однако не выгодно вследствии стоимости, то вот это огромное чучело никогда не имеет шанса на существование: слишком большой, спрятать его невозможно, перевозить по небу тоже. Пушка Тесла хоть и кажется эффективной, но хуже против техники нежели 2 стволка. В итоге, как по мне, танк ухудшили, ибо разрабы радостно обсмотрелись Тесла-танками. Лучше бы вместо этого они занялись советской пехотой, ибо она НАСТОЛЬКО неэффективна, что за СССР ее даже открывать не хочется, максимум для Наташи, инженера.
Never in all my years in playing Red Alert would I have thought of sticking a tesla coil to an apocalypse tank and adding bunkers to it. At least its not an overlord/apocalypse clone now.
love the detailed showcase video. Not just the tank and the mechanic. The presentation in this video is also beautiful. Shows a lot of work put even in the update videos
This tank is just beautiful. Great job Corona team! C & C will return, revived by talented and amazing groups like the CoronaDevs. The greedy overlords at EA will not put us down. What they destroyed, we will rebuild and rise again!
Awesome model! not some cheap kitbash, but a lot of fascinating details like infantry firing positions, commander's cupola, designator (?), even communications antenna! Did this model also use full PBR tech used in the King Oni rework? Because it looks amazing!

well it depends on the encounter, if the infantry is supported by vehicles they get demolished but if its spread out and all of them are AT the tank goes down unless you garrison 3 conscripts and 2 flak troopers that also could defend the vehicle fairly well
interesting is that an all infantry force can survive it longer than a mixed army. meaning it's most effective if the target doesn't die immediately but serves as a conductor for some time instead.

@@Leman_RUSSIAN У танков на шасси Бейнблейда с его 14 вариантами есть ВСЁ. От Shadowsword противо-титанового варианта с орудием Вулкан (мега лазером устанавливаемом лишь как основное орудие Титанов класса Полководец и Император и на этот танк) и до 350 тонной мобильной крепости Stormhammer ощетинившейся 21 стволами и даже пустотными щитами. Танки времён Ереси Хоруса от Fellblade-ов и Glaive-ов (с волкитными орудиями) до Мастадонтов - это вообще отдельная категория.
My only gripe is the six track pods, but I have a similar gripe about all the odd track layouts, like the Guardian's and the Tsunami's triple pod or the Apocalypse's quad pod. The more track pods on the tank, the more likely it is to get stuck in mud and the worse the track maintenance is. It is why IRL tanks only have two track pods.
I can keep watching this over and over... everything about this new Union Tank completely redress the artistic issue found in the previous version. And that tesla mechanics that encourage it to target bigger fish and ignore the small fries... that's an eye opener. Say. That's a nice voiceline for this tank: "Ignore the Small Fries!" or... "I got bigger fish to fry!"
This redesign pleases me greatly. Never did like the old design much, too similar to the Overlord tank and we now have a true succesor to the tesla tank (go away stingray, nobody likes you).
@@artken4901 the allies and soviets still exist in Corona mod, despite Tatsu attempting to wipe them out. I don't know if Corona mod has something to say about cherdenko, Ackerman, etc, but chances are that they still exist. I mean, Tanya, yuriko and Natasha still exist, and Dasha, Eva and Suki still exist (I mean, they are still the voice which guides the player throughout any battle, depending on the faction the player chooses). A lot of the ra3 cast still exist; what's stopping people like Cherdenko, Krukov, Ackerman, etc from existing
@@jvbutalid8316 i mean the Allied ending Cherdenko and krukov were in arested in cryo prison i was thinking that Tatsu is from Uprising. ....oh a yoshiro died...maybe they added Bronislav in this game
@@artken4901 since ra3 time-line was reset to make way for Corona mod, we can't exactly say for sure if cherdenko and krukov still end up in cryo, or if yoshiro still died, unless the Corona mod debs say that events of ra3 still happen
That's a really ingenious tiny detail, the armor of the unit determining how far the lighting can jump. I'm curious about the decision to self-repair. Wouldn't that require engineers garrisoned to be enabled?
prism tank is back? Very cool! But about demo tank, random chain lighting is awesome, one shoot killing main tanks is OP i think if apocalypse can't do that. Interesting and balanced! This monster fears bold infantry without tanks, BUT he can bunkering himself and carrying some (5) guys whose help him with this problem a bit. Also very slow charging attacks make it not so OP, good-good! Perfect choose for big fights

You know what ? This is what i think why the original Red Alert 3 is lacking . Screw the competitive , people want crazy units to play with . Red alert 3 stuck in a perpetual re-balancing ( and yet they somehow can't rebalance the Cryocopter ...) with so minimal single player contents... , and then EA gave up when they found out Red Alert couldn't reach the level of E-sport game .
So this is Corona Mods' 2nd Gen Union Super Heavy MBT... Where's the one that looks like the Allies' take on the Chinese Overlord Tanks, with missile launchers and can transport infantry?! Kudos to this Tesla Sentinel... That's what it should be called._ * Do us a favor- not only equip them with the EM Jammer/Disruptors, but: enable the Tesla Sentinel to unleash an infantry and pilot lethal Tesla Surge/Burst Special Ability - perfect for clearing out garrisons, shutting down structures, and: Capturing Enemy Vehicles 😏😏😏😏😏
I so, I know it won't happen, but I so want a game where the Soviets get to be the protagonists; even in real life they mostly weren't an invasive military force, at least by comparison to the United States; which quite literally decimated Korea by dropping more munitions than the entirety of the Second World War, only to surpass these in Vietnam. I actually don't think the Soviets ever did anything like that to another country; not to mention they never used nukes in a war; they did back, fund, and arm a lot of national liberation struggles around the world and are probably one of the reasons why US peaceful nonviolent resistance movements gained traction and success; as the United States knew damn well that the Soviets Union was capable of arming the Black community if they decided to revolt and commit to revolution; like so many other oppressed people's had, and the Soviets had backed; like Nelson Mandela and the KMT, against the apartheid regimen that the United States was supporting.
So it’s a super heavy tank that fires a sustained tesla shot that chains to other enemies, can garrison infantry, and by the looks of 1:50, can also be up armored. I’m very much interested in what they will do to the other factions to balance this.
that tank reminds me of the Arc Cannon from the first Titanfall game. hhmm... that unit can affectionately be called the "Arc Tank," or "Arc Cannon Tank." huh, the acronyms for those nicknames spell "AT" and "ACT." that's fitting.
I wonder if the allies will have a super unit that is air based while the empire just has a Oversized mech that could walk through water like the shogun executioner lol.
Idk about those two faction, but certainly the CE (Celestial Empire) have a unit called "Legion Breaker'". T4 counterpart of Union Tank in that faction. (sry for my bad english)
Give allies more multirole fighters and attack helicopters to tally the score. The AC-130 style gunship is sort of too thick armored which is too exaggerated Celestial empire can only build 1 structute at a time since it can't build 2nd construction vehicle, also need low cost anti-air MANPADS infantry. Female sniper won't shoot at ground vehicles at all. Japan rising sun needed more powerful air units

Fantastic work! But i think keeping old garrison ability is a missing oportunity both gameplay and design vise. Huge ultimate tesla tank can have something really unique, best if keeping with tesla-theme, imho.

Да и посадить в него можно и других пехотинцев. Представляю себе, если в нём буду сидеть одновременно Юрико, Наташа и Таня, если захватить вражеские МСЦ) Кстати, на видео танк без третьего ранга, так что он довольно слабый, но с этим рангом он может наносить больше урона по скорости и силе, на немного сильнее, но уже лучше, чем ничего.
@@Visyusnik_Yikatelniy я бы не назвал танк, уничтожающий Техно-танк Альянса с четырёх выстрелов слабым. Он наоборот стал сильнее, так как теперь поражает несколько целей за выстрел, так что в группах эта шайтан-машина будет разрывать любого.
This one is so much more powerful and stronger than an ordinary Tesla tank, I would like to see a duel of ordinary Tesla tanks and Tesla strands, and another prism tank is good, but not so much, in 2 parts they posed a greater threat than here, I would like to see a Tesla super tank with one two and three stripes.
