Good job. Easier way is the use of proportion. 12 oranges over $4, this is a rate. Now, (x)oranges over $1, is another rate. Now, we can find (x) of oranges by using proportions. 12/4=x/1. X=3. So you’ll have a rate of 3 oranges over $1. You can use proportions again or common sense. 3/1=x/10. X=30. Or every dollar for 3 oranges so $10 is 30 oranges.
