The STAR questions you mentioned were in my live video 1:1. Do they ask them again at f2f? UPDATE 9/19.. they did not ask STAR questions at my f2f. I start training 10/2.
I appreciate these videos. And I like being prepared. So thank you. For those of you who don't have anything nice to say. Why are you here? Keep making these videos I'm sure alot of people appreciate them. Thus was very helpful. I have my f2f on Tuesday.
Had f2f interviews with other two major airlines, and both made me feel welcome. I was very nervous at the beginning but they treated me so well that I started to feel very comfortable. I got the CJO with both airlines. Waiting to go to training very soon. Thank you so much for your videos, I really enjoy them!!
Great content and very helpful!! Some of these comments are like grown children complaining. These videos are to help people. Everyone has access for free. If you don’t like it move on. There is no reason to be rude to someone who is trying to help.
thanks for all the helpful tips and advice ! I have my F2F in a little less than two weeks with them . not really nervous honestly but still trying to figure out the best way to answer some of the questions. your video really helped!
@@weisabunny it’s a breeze ! I go to training next month . just be friendly and make sure to talk to everyone or anybody near you . United made it a easy going experience so don’t be nervous !
@@Jeffery7719 Congrats!!! I've met a few others going next month too, all sooooo nice! Y'all will have a great time! Aw thanks!!!! I did that for my SWA F2F 2 months ago and didn't get it. But I think I know why, they make you feel so comfortable, I mistook that for being way to chill and chatty, too many jokes. But I did my best and I trust they know what they're doing. If I get it, I get it. If not, I'll be ok! Anyway, thanks!!!!!!!
@@jasminem1499sorry i’m just seeing this but I did. I didn’t have to stand tho it was more so of a “let’s go around the table and everybody share” kinda thing.
Love your videos Abbie thank you always for the flight attendant bundle, the study halls, and valuable information in ALL your videos!!! 😊 I know one day I will achieve my dream.
Thank you for this video. Although, I got a mail that “After careful evaluation, we regret to inform you that you were not successful in your online assessment.”, but this will be helpful for any future interviews. I will try again in 6 months.
I wasn’t successful in my online assessment with United but after 6 months I just applied again. But for some reason I got an email from them saying I don’t need to take my assessment test this time 😳🤔
Week ago, I applied for United for the flight attendant again, I got an email that "we have decided to move forward with other candidates for Flight Attendant. You were part of an extremely competitive pool of talent and our decision was a difficult one." I will try again whenever it opens. Is that means if I apply for the flight attendant position again in the future, do I need to take another assessment?
Another update. I applied for United for a flight attendant position again. I got an email that "We have decided to move forward with other candidates for Flight Attendant, FA2024-3. You were part of an extremely competitive pool of talent and our decision was a difficult one." I will never stop trying again by checking on the website. So, does that mean I need to do take the assessment again?
@@BacchusGlass Sooooo exciting!!!! Congratulations!!! My F2F is in 3 days, super excited and nervous! This sure isn't for the faint of heart!!! =) Best of luck, I'm SURE you'll do great!!
Hello Abbie, thank you so much for your amazing advices and coaching , I have also the Interview workbook. I would like to know if it is allowed to wear elegant business pants for women instead of skirt for the flight to and from the Interview and during the face to face interview itself . Thank you so much Sandra
I completed the on Demand Video Interview, I had a tech glitch, and my second attempt was not recorded; however all the other questions were answered, The help chat was not working, So I solved the problem by sending an email to inflight recruiting with my response for question one. How do you think this will impact my next phase in the interview process? Also how long will it take to hear back from UA after the on demand interview? Thank you,
@@colleencorbett7145 I hope you get an email with your CJO soon but trust when I say I’m no model lol. Just be prepared, presentable, clean and have a great attitude and you’ll pass with amazing colors! But emphasis on be prepared and confident in your abilities. No room for hesitation
If someone could kindly please answer... Would the be candidates allowed to keep the purse with some personal items inside? (i.e. valuables, glasses, a bit of make up, etc) Thank you very much!
I applied once got turned down and just applied today and still Got turned down. I guess I didn’t do well in the FA assessment. I thought I did well based on my knowledge traveling around the world especially with United. Any tips and tricks would help
They’re looking to see if you can follow instructions. There’s really no tip or trick to that. Being a FA requires you to know how to follow instructions, bc rules are there to keep you safe. People that don’t make it to the line tend to be people who cannot follow instructions. I know this from my experience as a FA for another airline. Your travel experience is really not going to help you a lot during this process bc it’s one thing what the public thinks ought to happen vs what we as FAs have to do.
Definitely leaves zero surprise to the experience.........n sometimes knowing exactly what is going to happen , can be over preparing tho, and sadly this video as great as it Is, can be giving an unfair advantage.......shldn't an interview hv sum surprise element??? So when people go for interview they aren't robotic and over confident knowing exactly what comes nxt and how they shld act/ react🤔
I’m sorry, But I got so distracted by you constantly playing with your hair that I couldn’t finish the video. I feel like, if you are trying to tell us how to conduct ourselves during an interview, while you’re constantly playing with your own hair, it just…. To me, it just didn’t send the right message. I’m not trying to be mean, perhaps you can take this as constructive criticism and maybe redo the video with your hair tied back?
You could also work on your focus span - which btw it is an essential feature for cabin crew to be able to remain focused on following strict procedures. 🤷♂️
