This is a 35mm trailer for what you would see right before a feature film presentation at a United Artists cinema back in the mid-to-late 1980s. It is good to preserve something like this, as United Artists theatres no longer exist, and some people who got to experience them may be able to relish in some nostalgia for it or one of its variations. According to the source of this print, this trailer underwent many variations beginning around the 1970s to the late 80s, with this one probably fitting in around the middle of that. These are still common at theatre chains today, so it's interesting to see one from this long ago to see how they have developed. The most striking thing is that all it says is to be silent, not a single mention about cell phones or texting! ;D
The print was scanned in 4K, and is mostly pre-matted, but contains some full-frame graphics as well. Because of that, I decided to upload the scan uncropped. There was absolutely no video processing done whatsoever, so this is the print's natural state. It has a bit of dirt, especially at the end where it was handled the most, as this was likely used in theatres back in its day.
