Absolutely awesome area, Adam. And roads, too, thank you for sharing that with the viewers. Now, they can come out and experience it for themselves as well. ❤🤘🏼
You're showing an epic ride in beautiful weather and I'm getting my bike prepped to store for the winter ... yeah, envious as hell! :-) Ride safe Adam and thanks for another great video!
Terlingua - that’s where those boys from the grassy knoll were buried, they were dead within 3 hours, buried in the desert, unmarked graves out past Terlingua. I still got the shovel Mad Jack
Took our MC Club out April 21,Next time you go ,Have to ride the John Maxwell scenic ride to St.Elenas Canyon in Big Bend Natl .Park.Beautiful Ride also
Some yres ago we,7 of us rode out there fm Houston. One the BEST rides I've participated in. What he says and showing, we all did. I highly recommend this ride. MAGA 🇺🇸😎
Great route, marked my own trip for later. An all americas tour is in the cooking. I dispise routes from others, but places - yes - places, nature places are what I orientate my routes around if the routes are wobbly-wonky enough. Earth has been made round to travel around freely and meet all the mostly good people in humble respect. I just wish people all over the world would think more about what clowns they choose as leaders. Humbleness, Peace and Freedom to all.
So this isn't a negative comment in any way but I find a little more enjoyment on your personal videos like this one than the ones that were made by the production people. Either way they're all good and I appreciate all of them. See you again on the next convoy!
My father bought property out there back in the late 60's as resort property, that never came to be. Rumor has it, that there is a connection to the Kennedy assignation. Bodies buried there, but who knows.
There's something about that part of the country. You feel like you are gone. That feeling we all want to experience as riders. Love that route for sure!!!
Hey Adam! I went to college at Sul Ross and went down there occasionally. Me & the Mrs. had our anniversary there several years ago. I've been trying to get my buddy to take a camping trip there with me. He's a fan of yours and he & I spent a few days at your Camp Ground in Moyers, OK, but he refuses to go. Would you reach out to him and tell him how freakin' cool it is to go there? Reply back to this and I'll get you in touch with him.
Quit posting about this...! It is a well-kept secret that we here in Texas love to keep to ourselves!! JK...it is a kick of a road, if you enjoy no traffic, winding roads, and wide open spaces. Keep them coming, Adam!
Adam, love the video and seeing it through your eyes. How do you secure your bike when you're in for the evening, as far as locking it up and such? Thanks. BTW, met you at Wisconsin HD when you came through on you epic ride.
Wow, those are some cool places and what a great road I have been to Barnett, Harley Davidson in El Paso and I did not ride that direction. I guess I’ll have to go back. Awesome video Adam. Thank you.
Now you’re giving away are Texas secrets. Lol That is a beautiful ride. Getting there not so nice. Terlingua is a cool place. The country side has a feel kind of like the badlands to me.
The weather is perfect for riding this time of the year. I had a great ride too, just a bit closer to home. I'm taking notes from your videos for more riding destinations. I can get a map and look it up or you can tell us what the highway number you just rode. Another great video about a place I'd never heard of. Thanks for sharing.
It’s highway 170 👊🏼 if you want to find even more unique and exciting places to ride, visit MotorcycleDestinations.com or subscribe to Motorcycle Destinations YT channel for a new video, daily
Thanks for visiting our town, Terlingua. FM 170 from Terlingua, TX to Presidio, TX is one of the least known and best rides in the USA. Found you from the Bogey Biker channel a few days ago, very surprised to see Terlingua featured. There is a Run 2 Terlingua Rally held annually, hope that you can make it back
Adam ,vyou are in the area of Sanderson . HighwY 90 toward Del Rio is where No Country for Old Men was filmed. Hiway 90 is the old stagecoach road from San Antonio to. EL paso. You are in beautiful country and it is a great ride if not to hot. Ride Safr brother.😊
Having to turn sideways through door reminded me of being on John Wayne yacht. From pilot house down stairs to engine room, John Wayne couldn't fit his shoulders down stairwell. So JW had to turn sideways just like you just had to do! We'd just finished visiting with his friend Ben Johnson, surrounded by many in aft stateroom.
From a Huge Convoy in the Rain to solo riding in the Dessert. Looks like it might be a Miserable place to ride in the Summer. Sounds like a fun road to ride on a Sports Adventure bike.
Jace put me on to this road a few years ago and man is it an awesome road to ride! I compare it to Triple Nickel 555 in Ohio due to the blind curves with the hills. It is better than the 555 just on the scenery alone. Love the wide angle lines of sight.
There are a few great roads taking you into El Paso whether from the mountains to the north, the high desert from the west or your area coming from the east it's all glorious country. That was my joy of no destination I traveled it three times years ago. That road begs you to open it up while the terrain makes you slow down to enjoy it. Unfortunately people object to southwestern influences moving north but the architecture, the people and the absolute Love of the country is contagious. I'll be back out there soon, just a couple of used kitchen cabinets to modify and I'll be done and on the road. Thanks for the memory jogging Mr. Sandoval, America certainly is a treasure! Be safe, give Thanks often and just enjoy the no pressure days. You are in my prayers Hoka Hey
Great video, Adam, you inspire me to continue to make better videos. I hope I can create contact as well as this sooner than later. What an epic ride, this must be. I am a little jealous, but will be there one day.
