The only difficulty here is that you have to remember all of this in order to save time on the ASVAB

@grammerhero are you posting probability tomorrow? Im taking the test Thursday. Or do you already have one created on that I can look at?
@GrammarHero
@GrammarHero 4 года назад
I might, but it's just simple probability. If you click "create it" on this website, it'll show you everything you need to know: www.math-aids.com/Probability/Probability_Definition.html

I will be remaking this video soon. Specifically, it will be a lot shorter and only focus on the main conversions you need to know.

will we have to memorize all those units of measurements or will there be the reference in the actual word problem?
@GrammarHero
@GrammarHero 2 года назад
You will not have any reference info on the ASVAB, including in the questions themselves. Honestly, I would learn the common conversions (i.e., inches to feet and feet to miles).
@worldwideexplore3511

how many of these questions will be on the asavb?

I never had any. They’ll probably show up if you get a lot of questions right.

number 5 i just kept it simple. i did 36 times 10 and got the same answers lol
@linlinxoxo
@linlinxoxo 3 года назад
for question 5 how many inches are in 10 yards why not just times 36 by 10? on the asvab will that be too complicated and it would be easier to convert to feet first? or is it okay to times it by 36?

I have a question for you. How am I supposed to know if it’s a Multiplication or Division problem?
@GrammarHero
@GrammarHero 3 года назад
Small Units to Big Units = Divide How many miles is 15840 feet? (feet to miles: small to big) 15840 / 5280 = 3 miles (note: 1 mile is 5280 feet) Big Units to Small Units = Multiply How many feet is 5 miles? (miles to feet: big to small) 5 x 5280 = 26400 feet. You can also find this information on page three of my reference sheet: www.asvabapp.com/Reference.pdf

For the units of length, how do you know when to multiply and when to divide ?
@GrammarHero
@GrammarHero 3 года назад
On page 3 of my free reference sheet (www.asvabapp.com/Reference.pdf ), it mentions this: Bigger units to smaller units -> multiply For example: Convert 2 miles (big units) to feet (small units). There are 5,280 feet in a mile. 2 x 5,280 = 10,560 feet. Smaller units to bigger units -> divide For example: Convert 26,400 (small units) feet to miles (big units). 26,400 / 5280 = 5 miles. I hope this helps!
