The point was to make Unity as basic as possible because the average consumer doesn't get taught how to play the game with all of it's mechanics because Ubisoft don't explain it in the game. I played it as simply as I could for a fair comparison. I assumed the Mirage parkour here is very basic as well. Here is some actual good Unity parkour: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k_Jz271lgJw.html&ab_channel=StealthfulRunner%21
Mirage imo seems more heavy footed, like you can feel each jump more than unity. Unity's fluidity is great but inconsistent in different contexts. It takes multiples attempts to make a fluid set of movements without accidently dropping or climbing. AC Unity advanced mechanics is hard but imo not due to user error. I think a more polished system with the sort of gliding style of the first few AC games with the complexity of Unity along with better input interpretation would make the best assassins creed game (dont forget the stealth!).
I'm liking Mirage, but one thing I really hope they could change is some of the camera movement. It just looks weird when Basim is jumping down to assassinate from above, the camera is like too slow for his movement, I wish it was more snappy and kept him in centre frame the whole time.
True, but to be honest. I'm liking how grounded it seems. Unity can get out of hand at times, and I only wish Mirage had a better system of momentum at the least.
@@Stealthful_To me I kinda feel like the parkour is acceptable though a skill tree for parkour would’ve been decent. Skills like improved running speed as the game progresses, increased parkour speed, back and side ejects, with manual jumping would’ve been all they needed to make og fans more excited im still hoping they surprise us.
@@Newera1047 that's actually a really good idea. Not only would that improve gameplay and make the game more satisfying to make progress in, we'd also see Basim get better as he rises through the ranks in a much more organic way, so to speak.
At first when I saw Ac unity basic parkour I was like man I could do better than that, but then saw the advanced one and was like oh, he knows how to parkour well...
Videos like these are extremely trivial right now since we don’t have anything to go off of mirage with but that tiny bit of gameplay if anything compare Valhalla and just speed it up a bit that’s all they’re really doing with mirage plus with new animations
@@xd_rumble3437 much obliged. Of course; there's no need for any disrespect here so why start unnecessary argument. I completely agree with and understand your critique.
But this game more copied the basic movement from Valhalla it seems. I guess the retail version will sped up so the game will just the copy paste version of Valhalla 😂 At least we get no more RPG system. For me that is the point.❤
Yes. The point was to make as Unity look basic as possible because the average consumer doesn't get taught how to play the game with all of it's mechanics because don't explain it in the game. I played it as simply as I could for a fair comparison. I assumed the Mirage parkour here is very basic as well. In the description, I explained this.
@@Stealthful_ You did well, this is what Unity parkour looks 90% of time. Especially in "casual" gameplay when you're trying to reach point B from point A as fast as possible and not trying to do fancy stuff on purpose like all those videos on RU-vid.
@@Supprt-dn9nn thank you. That's true when you're just trying to get from point A to point B, you usually don't do those flashy moves. It's always satisfying to and do them though.
