I again liked St Peter's animatronic mascot that just quietly sat on one side, shaking its head and raising its eyebrow.

the colours of the Sussex jumpers are so satisfying

Surely Armitage should be sat between Roberts & Trueblood? That's where the mascots usually sit.

Trueblood deserved to be on a better team he won that round by himself

Was it fair of St Peter's - Oxford to have superman on the team?

Mr Armitage is very good at shaking his head to indicate that he has no idea. How helpful.

t-shirts. wearing a t-shirt is the key to winning this.

Mr Trueblood appears nervous, which is not surprising since the team's performance is almost solely his.

An old friend of mine, Matthew Dean, was playing for Sussex University, who did a good job. I hope come back on the show. Trueblood was very good, considering he got a lot of questions wrong.

I do wish University Challenge would ditch that horrid scratchy string quartet version of the Sig tune and bring back the original muted trumpet version.

I've been watching this show for awhile, but have always wondered something. What is the difference between the 2 buzzing sounds, example are the one at 4:26 (Dean) and the one at 9:45 (Trueblood)?

Matching Gabriel Trueblood and his team up against any team other than Fred Harvey and his team (Durham) makes for an uneven match.

I graduated from Sussex last year. Based on the people I met there we'll be waiting a long time for another win, most the people are dumb as fuck and more akin to sitting in East Slope bar than the library.
