Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium - otherwise known as the Liberty Bowl - is planning to get a modern new look with a major renovation in the next three years, the University of Memphis announced Thursday.

We are competing with Lubbock, Stillwater, Fort Worth, Waco, smaller college towns. The Big XII is the main prize here.
