Our Seattle-based second-year students celebrated their transition from classroom to clinical experience through a white coat ceremony in UW's Kane Hall. Celebrations and presentations of white coats take place throughout our five-state #WWAMI region. 🎉🥼🎉
Students wear these coats as they go "into the field" to learn from experienced physicians and other health professionals in Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho.
While students have also been in clinical settings, most of their training before this was in the classroom. Please join us in congratulating these future doctors on their academic achievements. 📚💪🩺
