UniVIBES: The Boss PW-10 V-Wah pedal on guitar and keyboard 

Great review, this thing is 20 years old, but has some of the best Wah Univibe and distortion models to date! I've ordered mine now, can't wait for it to arrive! I might add this thing is virtually a multifx unit, add this to a delay or reverb pedal, and together that could be your entire pedal board!

Honestly .... if your amp already has an onboard reverb and tremolo ..... you have everything you need with this pedal ! It may be old, but it is sooooooo much more usable on stage than Keeley's Monterey or Darkside : I mean, with Keeley's, you are stuck with ONE sound, if you want to switch from wah to univibe, you have to change it by hand !!!! Who can design pedal this way anymore ? at least, add another switch to change from wah to univibe, man ! I am happy to have found one PW 10 myself, I don't need a pedal to have 1000 presets, usb or blutooth interface and so on ! Digitech did a pretty good job with the Experience pedal, I just don't understand why there is no pedal maker building "up to date" pedals like this one .... A few years back, I ordered a multipedal from Jam Pedals, including wah, fuzz, phaser, univibe and it cost me a kidney ! Come on, pedal makers, stop making multieffects with more presets than you can use during a show, and bring us "usable" pedals again ! Morley seems to have eard my prayers with it's multipedal, but it seems to be designed for 80's metal fans...

I bought this a few years ago just for the Univibe. Only downfall is the low amount of sweep the treadle has.

Nice trainers mate where can I buy them? And do your trainers help with the effects?

I don't know if this was an issue with the pedal in general, or just a flaw in mine specifically, but to click the toe switch for the on/off between fx/etc. you literally had to stand on it with your full wait to click it. I don't see any mention of this in the comments, so it might be a problem with just my pedal's switch. Otherwise, I have no complaints. It's a great sounding, and easy to use, pedal with few issues! (the only other exception for me was the limited toe/heel sweep of the wah pedal, which can't be manually adjusted because it's controlled by an optical sensor, as opposed to using a sideways potentiometer, like the original wah pedals).

Bein stuck with midi on casio low budget keys and a limited amount of synth capabilities this pedal can make it not so.... Generic?

Can this pedal be used for just a volume pedal.
