That's what I said from the beginning. The door is locked, closed, and secured inside her home, giving her time to call the police. And which didn't give her the right to shoot unthinkingly. It could have been a courier, a mail carrier, a child, or an innocent bystander with the mother. So taking a shot in that direction doesn't guarantee the intended target would be hit when there's no certainty about who is on the other side of a closed door. 😢😮🙏

This right here. There was a video i saw of another case where a father shoots his daughter's ex boyfriend after the ex breaks down the door. Dude had been abusive to the daughter (not sure if physically or mentally). Thankfully there was a camera that caught it. Point is, the dad doesn't shoot until the ex boyfriend breaks through the door. THAT is self defense. Dad was protecting his family.
