I remember seeing this on TOTP, went out the next day and got the single, also included Rabbit in your headlights with the video...awesome. Had never heard of UNKLE until this came on TOTP, love them now!
Lavelle and Shadow made this song and it's got loads of hip-hop elements to it. In fact it would be hard to categorize it in any other way. I say if Shadow wants to scratch, let him scratch.
I agree, Its a GREAT SONG; i dont wanna lame them but the drum loop needs something; They would bring a real drummer to play it, i think it could be interesting.
In this show, at least the DJ (J.Lavelle? or DJ Shadow?) is playing it live, but I'm not sure about Mr Brown. I love this song and those 3 artists though.
@@chloeharris what are you talking about this is Unkle -DJ Shadow and James Lavelle in 1999 with Ian Brown just after he was released from prison. The instrumental to this is on the Unkle Science Fiction album!
@@JimmyChangE16 I know all that. Shadow wrote the tunes. Brown sings. Lavelle designs the T-shirts. I just thought they used the Scratch Perverts for live DJing. Could be wrong though!
But my coment was not about be there it is a great track but the guy said reign was unkle seccond best track and although i do like the song it is not anything great i dont think ian could be bothered with the lyrics and its quite one dimentional with the production of the samples and i thought for someone to say that it was unkle seccond best song i felt that the reasoning for this was because it features ian brown when it is very clearley no where near the seccond best song by unkle.
Hahahahaha spot on i am pretty king supreme when it comes to music. I dont like the fact that artist can get big and be able to release shit tracks and people will like it anyway just because its there faverate artist.
This song no need for sretches damn that..... its not hip hop or smth sorry if it touched somebody... but this song is isn't requied remix. so dj shadow screwed this absolutley lovley and intellegent song with this hip hop (pop-pop) sretches.
