This tune is shown on 66-key B.A.B. rolls as "The Laughing Polka (Let Us Be Gay)" by Sam H. Stept -- but it is not the same tune as the Wurlitzer 150 tune "Let Us Be Gay" (with same composer credit). This recording is a B.A.B. roll transcribed to the Wurlitzer 165 scale and played on a Stinson organ.

I am practically certain that the tune is "The Laughing Polka". I recorded this same tune while it was being played on the Gebruder Bruder "Elite Orchestra Apollo" on the B&B Carousell back in 1997 when it was still on Surf Ave. and Mike Saltzstein was still alive. The organ was still playing 66 key B.A.B. paper rolls at the time. The rolls that the organ was playing at the time was #387 which was one of the Wurdeman recut rolls.

Do you by any chance know if the Gebruder Bruder "Elite Orchestra Apollo" at the B.A.B. still plays? Last I heard it was in 2019 where it had a really bad cipher (stuck note). By 2020, it seemed to have fallen entirely silent (they even had the organ chamber sealed off and the swells propped open). I know you have some videos/recording of the organ so I'm curious if you know anything that I don't?
