Loved this episode, explained so much! I realized you said not to think about hemagiosarcoma but my boxer has HSE after her spleen ruptured! I have fed her freezed dry raw for past 3 years but now I am learning as much as possible about everything to help her live a quality life! Yes the vet told me she had 3 days to live but I would not believe that! So we went to work! She is now post dx 6 months with a great quality of life and she is a warrior! She is fighting like hell to stay with me! Although I never tell her she is sick! So far so good! Everything you present I watch! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you teach me!❤❤❤❤
I love Chineese medicine. It's so interesting. This element chart in this presentation how can I get one? I am going through your TCVM courses online and their great. Learning so much. Thank you Dr. Judy.😊😊
thanks for sharing this. Yes trainers/99% of everyone on the internet still definitely say to feed them frozen kongs /lick mats to keep them occupied and soothe them.
Love this!!!! I have a deaf Dalmatian who is very loving, once she gets to know you. But fearful biter and my sisters frenchie controls her and herds her with no problems. I think she is a water element. I can see the traits and what will help her with the food. Thank you!!
Super interesting & helpful, definitely wish I had this sort of information, and inclination to find said info- to had not fed my previously doggos primarily kibble their whole lives. As they say tho; When you know better- you do better. Me, and my new puppers say: ❤❤❤THANK YOU❤❤❤
Would it be possible to do a small dog reference as well, because my (previously stray) chihuahua mix doesn’t behave or have a lot of the aggressive/ protective overall firey traits that most chihuahua’s do…lol. Also my guy has Addison’s disease and while I know there isn’t a “natural” way to treat this I would like to bolster his system and give him the best I can for all supporting organs kidney, liver, etc. from being on a lifelong daily dose of fludrocort. I am looking into your Yin Yang book for more info but any additional info you could provide would be amazing. I really do love your channel and how logically and clearly you dig into the subject of the day. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
The fire personality describes my german shepherd to a T. He's a RED shepherd, too! He wouldn't bite you but he would bark/talk playfully. Before him I had an Alaskan husky who was a wood personality and a bite risk (unfortunately) but he passed away at almost 14 years old, sadly before I learned alot of this stuff. Thanks for this very interesting video. I'm gonna try applying this to my friends dog who is on a terrible diet because he's a very picky eater (he's only been eating lunch meat every day 😭)
So glad you shared these diets in detail again, today. Looking at the recent community post at the pup loaf for tummy issues, I saw your element recipe cards referenced, too, but they didn't make any sense. Now they do! Yesterday I had to drive an hour to get certain organ meats for that tummy issues diet, so I am going to make it today. He has had diarrhea and soft stools the past few weeks from the meds given by the vet. Now I have a good diet list for rotation and can look in advance for ingredients not found locally. Grass fed, organic, and organ meats are hard to find locally, so I have to drive a distance or order online. Can all of these diets be fed gently cooked like the pup loaf?
I am definitely a water elemental. And i am pretty sure my Lola is a fire. Funny that i am water, I can put her fire out if things get too crazy😆 Where can i find the elements in a circle picture?
My dog loves ice cubes after his last walk at night haha. I heat his chopped meat and add blueberries. Nzymes has some good probiotics for animals and some live granules I add as well. He doesn’t like any veg. Yes my dog is allergic to chicken. Maybe I’ll try raw chicken.
I have a 14-year 5-pound Yorkie mix that has pancreatitis flare-ups and the beginning stages of kidney disease and another is a 14-year 10-pound Shih Tzu and she has heart disease and kidney disease. Any recommendations for them??
hello, i need some help my dog is a singapore special breed and generally he is very nervous and fearful of new people. i am trying to figure out which personality he has.could u please advise me
For some reason i am not getting the fire and water element recipes in my mail box? But i was able to get the earth, metal and Puploaf. Can you please respond Judy.
I have a white poodle, she has a skin problem and why I quit kibble hot nature. Small/med. Poodle, Metal? And a black shih tuz I very sweet and love to play. What would he be? He loves everybody and friendly. I think ima water personally. Lol😅
My doberman is a classic wood personality with the liver issues. Unfortunately he has copper storage liver disease, a permanent and likely genetic condition. The wood diet has always confused me because it contains ingredients such as beef liver, which has a lot of copper, as well as leafy greens, which also contain copper. If your dog has chronic high liver enzymes, it could be from copper accumulation and only a liver biopsy could tell that. It's more common in Dobermans, labs, and bedlington terriers, but you can Google it and find some vets from I think Cornell have noticed an increase in other breeds/dogs. I don't know how much of these ingredients are in there. His secondary personality is metal, but he doesn't have any metal personality issues. I love Dr. Judy, but one thing that concerns me is her talk of dogs wanting to "be in charge." It's too close to alpha theory, which nas been debunked for decades, and dominance, which is greatly misunderstood. Dogs aren't trying to control and dominate people. Most of the time, these dogs are insecure, anxious, and/or fearful and act out, which she kind of touches on. It's like people who have developed control issues because of life experiences/trauma where they had no control and never want to feel that way again. Ironically, one of the Irish Setters I know is 100% a water personality, not fire.
My dogs have been allergy tested, two Dobermans two years old allergic to, chicken, pork , rice, sweet potatoes. Peanuts and several other things…… I’ve thought it was also the quality of food., Although not wanting to mess up with them and their sensitive system I’ve been real uneasy with everything. The veterinary put them on a prescription diet. Royal Canon. They don’t like it at all., I know it’s not what they need, but heck how do you feed a dog with all these allergies? Another thing my two year old female was hit by a truck at seven months old and it was a very traumatic experience for her, one Surgery turned into three. She was just a baby while in lockdown and We didn’t have people over our kids came by a few times and she acted like a normal puppy would. After her surgery’s we got her home finally and I did not let people over the first month so she could have a stress free quiet home to recover in. I stayed her side for six months and rehabilitate her myself, thats my specialty. so at our house with any stranger she’s very protective. shes bossy and talkative to us and very playful…Typical Doberman, that’s what I want. At our house with my grown kids, four big boys, She’s very scared and retreats to our room, her bed. I’m so confused with how to handle Her. she wants nothing to do with them. She’s also very emotional., and quite the fit thrower she’s a Picking eater and probably a bit spoiled. We almost lost her, she was ten days in a strange hospital and I was only able to visit her 15 minutes a day. That was hard on both of us. She completely shut down on them in the hospital refusing to eat or drink. It’s a long story and it was a horrible ordeal. She’s my baby and I completely adore her and her brother. She definitely runs the house and seriously I’m ok with that. Im 61 years old and this is the last of the dogs I’ll have and they are treated like kings and queens. What personality would she be? And do I try her on all the recipes? I’ll do anything for these two dobykids of mine and I’m so glad I found your channel.
Be careful with Royal canine it’s not made how it once was and If you saw her list of food to be wary of this is one of them …it is very confusing to figure out the right food it seems it’s best to make your own as they put so many poor quality ingredients and dangerous additives in to the majority of pet foods
I feed viva raw food you can feed a high quality cooked food and start with one protein then slowly add the chicken to see what happens and if they are actually allergic
You mean they are still hungry, or are losing weight? What do you feed, and if meat, what kind? Turkey, for example, is very lean meat. And lamb is quite fatty. So it all depend on what you feed.
