Given These things are gathering dust on showroom floors, NOBODY should be paying a premium for this model. Its a 50k MAX Thai built truck. AUSSIES ARE BEING MUGGED.

Unfortunately Mazda has messed the new BT-50. I understand that they have teamed with Isuzu. But is so much Isuzu and so little Mazda. They exterior is not too bad, but why no full LED option like other Mazda models. And especially why these so old and cheap looking no-LED taillights? Also the interior is not much Mazda.

$70K is cheap for a fully loaded UTE these days, top selling Ranger Wildtrax is around $80K and Hilux the same, VW Amarok Adventura is $87K or if it's in stock my local VW dealer has one for $91K!

I had a ranger 2.2 & took a D-Max 3.0 for a try it was just the same 💩engine as the ranger slow sluggish & noisy I’ve got the 2. L biturbo it’s a big jump forward but the V6 will B better as long as they have fixed all the problems with with the ex Range Rover lion engine 🤔

lion engine is total trash, not sure the underlying issues of it can be easily fixed. If you have to go ranger then avoiding the lion is a good call. I'm not sure I would call a 4JJ3 engine poo though, its superior to lion trash and the ford 2L in everyway.

Exterior is great, but the horrible interior colours, yuk, that light brown is awful, really spoils it. The engine is way underpowered, you think Mazda might give this 'special' edition a bit more grunt.
