Thank you for going to Hatyai. You don’t see many RU-vid videos from this place so it’s much appreciated. Some people say Hatyai has the best food in Thailand. Great tasting and value for money. Especially the seafood. Even the street stalls serve bbq giant shrimps.

Yaaay we in Thailand with Max. I love Thai food well, some I may not like. The last time when I was in Thailand, wow, years ago, when I was 19, the days of travelling around the world with my best friends. There was no you tube or any social media on our time. To see you, Max, travelling and eating all those yummylicious food, brought lots of memories. There so many video out there about travelling and eating food. The one thing I always noticed that Max, your video is excellent quality and you take us to the taste of the food, you describe it. Its like making a movie, for us to just go drooling is for you to describe and totally just way out describing how good or bad the food. You always do it. You are doing a totally wonderful thing for all of us who do or cannot travel anymore. Ok reminder, facebook me when you and your mum visit England. Take care.

Well, I wasn't sure at first, I thought he must be from Georgia, that was my first guess when I first came across his clip (video), and my second guess was he must be from Arkansas. He replied that he's from Arkansas, and he has mentioned as I watch many more of his clips.

Little advice: Open the shrimp up above the sauce. All the tasty headjuice wont go waste, instead it'll mix in the sauce. Which will make the sauce even more delicious ;)
Nice video man! I'm not dogging on you, but I am currently in Thailand now. Your amazing seafood buffet was farm raised Salmon, salted tilapia, crab with barely any meat, and mushy fresh water shrimp.

Great stop in Thailand Max... I missed this seafood buffet the last time I was there several months ago. Will surely make a point to visit the next time I am there. Also do check out the night market and the seafood there too.

I think thats how thai like their durian. Unlike the one you find in Singapore or Malaysia where the durian are more creamier and flavorful, thai durian meat seems a little more firm and the taste not as robust as the rest. It really depends on what you prefer. Cheers mate ! Keep up the good job !
Yes! now that I have been in THailand I have the major 4 figured out. the closest to Malay durian would be the Kanyao. However, many love the Monthong which is much more firm.

OMG, Max, are you eating to join the Sumo Wrestling team when you get to Japan? I heard they have recruited all the new entrants already, and you might have to continue to eat until next year so that you can unseat Konishiki. My uncle used to be a mayor of Haadyai and the Thais unfortunately do not know how to grow good durians. How did you come to love durian? It is the king of the fruit for obvious reason. Absolutely love it.

I get gout, so my days of AYCE seafood feasts are over but i well remember happily spending hours picking the meat from a crab or 6 ... nowadays i eat seafood more modestly but at least I can still eat seafood, armed with my anti-gout meds 😃❤️ I personally find the better division of labour is someone else cooks and I eat 😍
Hi Roo, I take a daily colchicine and allopurinol preventative and bump up the colchicine if I get an attack ... end point for stopping colchicine treatment is diarrhoea, once it starts the colchicine stops and it is bed rest until the pain goes away ... attacks usually resolve in 3 days with colchicine ... gout pain can go all the way to 9/10 so better life through chemistry 😀
