For Brewster, there's one more step: after you talk to Brewster on the Kappn island, you have to go back to your museum and tell Blathers that you talked to Brewster. Brewster actually tells you that, but he is a bird of few words so it's not all that clear.

I restarted 2 weeks before the update and managed to hit 3 stars and 43k excess miles before the drop! Its certainly possible to level through quickly if anyone here is thinking of restarting, you just have to know how to and there's lots of videos to talk you through it! Really the only downside is that its a LOT of grinding before you're really ready to decorate, especially if you have your sights set on a lot of the 2.0 items.

Yeah I'm stuck in need of more nook miles. Bells are easy enough to come by, but the miles are harder to get for sure. Lots of grinding the nook+ miles.

I love everything about the update (other than the fact that the cap’n rides are limited to 1 per day 😭) but one of my favorite parts has to be the roost. it’s so peaceful in there, it’s my new favorite spot. Brewsters voice is so low and quiet, and the way he pours the coffee is just so gentle. It relieves my anxiety a lot being there and i just love it so much.

Ohhh thank you so much for this because the island that me and my sister share, she’s the representative and i’ve been trying for weeks to get blathers with my character and i was about to give up but now i’m going to go try it with her character!

Did you hear about the glitch? Apparently it’s game breaking. If you decorate villagers home while your airport is open, that’s when it happens.

Something that was blocking my Blather's dialogue was the fact that I set my time to May, and May has the stamp rally in the museum. I fixed that by time travelling outside May. Hope this helps too!

I am currently waiting for my new switch to get here because mine decided to die literally 3 hours before the DLC dropped. The FOMO is so real right now but I’m so excited to play again and enjoy the update. Definitely headed for 3 stars first, since I have to start completely over again. This is video was so helpful in getting myself prepared for the new features.

Another about getting the Brewster dialogue, Blathers will only talk about Brewster to the resident rep ik most people probably are the resident rep but on my island my brother is and I was trying to do it on my account and it wasn't working bc I'm not the resident rep!

I restarted my Island in the beginning of October and I got three stars a couple of days before the update dropped so I got it just in time lol. Honestly the only problem I've run into is Nook Miles, but I can grind if I really want something. I've finally started decorating and these new items are amazing esp the round street lamps and the street lamps with banners. Honestly I like the grind of this game it isn't to stressful like grinding in other games (trust me I know grinding, I've 100% RDR2) and restarting just adds new life to the game esp after you unlock everything and have hundreds of thousands of nook miles. This is the only game I play that is decorating focused (does Stardew count?) and it really isn't my thing most of the time, but idk why I vibe with AC.

There is one gyroid fragment on Kappn’s island everyday, it doesn’t need to rain for them to show up there. However, it does need to rain for you to get two gyroids on your own island the next day.

I didn’t see this mentioned and it’s probs obvious, but for Kapp’n, you also need to go on a regular dodo flight at least once before he’ll let you ride! I discovered this cuz I tried taking some of my extra accounts on Kapp’n islands, but they haven’t flown with the dodo flights yet lol

How do you get the ABD in the Happy Home Paradise office? And yes, I'm loving it all. I restarted, and got to 3 stars before the update, so it was fun to have a fresh island to play with.

A thing about Brewster which may be kinda obvious, but: If your switch has multiple profiles/players, only the island rep can find Brewster.

I have my main account on my island and 3 others also . My question is I got the partitions and counters on my main but I can't get them on the other accounts any idea why? Also I have done 20 paradise homes on the other accounts like my main.

Yes, I'm not the island rep and I was able to purchase and use the storage shed as well as acquire the DIY recipe.

there's no limit, it's just random if there's a third 2.0 item rotating through for that day. so it will probably be back soon! sometimes i get the item, sometimes i don't!

I’ve only been getting wheat and potatoes from Leif on Harv’s island :/ Does it eventually rotate or are they on Kappn islands? I am trying to get all the crops 😅

I have some carrots and tomatoes you can plant them in the ground and they'll grow into the plant what's your friend code I will happily give them to you free of charge 😊

They eventually rotate. At first all i had was wheat and sugarcane from leif on harvs island then when he visted my island it was carrots and tomatoes and when he went back to harvs it switched to wheat and pumpkins. Takes awhile to get everything if you don't trade but he'll eventually sell everything.

Leif's stock changes weekly (on Monday) at Harv's; when he visits your island it will be different than what he's selling at Harv's. E.g. this week he was selling sugarcane and tomatoes at Harv's, but he's on my island today selling carrots and wheat. And yes, you can find crops on some Kapp'n islands!

Is anyone missing the DIY for Harvs fence? I think it's called the horizontal log fence...or am I crazy? I could have sworn it got added into the game but I cant find it.

Ayo I need some help people in the chat- so basically I did everything I needed to do, have the art gallery, three star or above rating on the island, representative, donated atleast one of each thing at the museum, etc, and like.. I try talking to blathers each day (time travel) and he never mentions a cafe whatsoever and so I’m thinking like, “did he say it and I accidentally skipped it ?” I went to Kapp’n I didn’t end on brews’s island and so now I’m very confused on how to do this bc now I know that I didn’t skip his text, I did everything, I have the updates, and idk where I’m at or if I missed something😅

it puzzles me why people are restarting for or before 2.0. I mean a lot of this took me over a year of hard work to get unlocked. Farther more a LOT of RU-vidrs ONLY want to show off the game. So they NEVER take the time to go to Harv's, fill the museum, unlock Redd etc. I see so many people play who after over a year still don't have all there reaction and rewards, have NO friendship at all with any of there villagers, never read there mail etc they just time travel and show off events and items. So now they have no Harv's island, no Kappin, No Brewster, no custom stuff etc

Everybody chooses to play in different ways, which is the true beauty of this game. Since there isnt really an end point you can play however you want. I wasnt happy playing on my old island so I rest and now I'm having a great time again.
