Wow just wow so so so beautifully said that even a kid can understand. Every time Luke comes out with a new video it just keeps getting more and more amazing . I'm speechless what a terrific person Luke is... Just Amazing. If only we had Luke in every TV channel like we see ads everywhere so many people can be educated and turn their unhealthy lifestyle to a healthier happier life . Title: "Unlocking the Science of Fat Loss: Important Points" Understanding Body Fat: Many people struggle with excess body fat, particularly in the midriff area. While certain medications and hormonal imbalances can contribute to weight gain, the main reason for fat accumulation is overeating and the way our bodies process carbohydrates. Carbohydrates and Blood Sugar: Carbohydrates break down into sugar during digestion, causing blood sugar levels to rise. Insulin, a hormone produced by the pancreas, helps transport this sugar from the bloodstream into cells for energy. Storage of Glucose: Cells and tissues have a limited capacity to store glucose. When they are full, the liver stores excess glucose as glycogen for later use. Some glucose can also be stored in muscles. However, if glucose intake exceeds storage capacity, the liver converts it into triglycerides and stores it as body fat in adipose tissues. Importance of Muscle Building: Increasing muscle mass allows for more glucose storage and utilization during workouts, preventing its conversion into fat. Regular exercise, especially muscle-building activities, helps to burn stored glucose and fat. Insulin and Fat Burning: To unlock fat cells and burn stored fat, insulin levels need to be low. Snacking and overeating carbohydrates can keep insulin levels high, inhibiting fat burning. Maintaining a low-carb diet and increasing protein and fat intake can help keep insulin levels in check. Role of Glucagon: Glucagon, another pancreatic hormone, works in opposition to insulin. It stimulates the liver to release stored glucose (glycogen) into the bloodstream when blood sugar levels drop. This process helps maintain energy levels during low-carb diets or fasting. Triglycerides and Heart Health: Excess glycogen that is not utilized for energy can be converted into triglycerides, which are harmful to heart health. By adopting a low-carb diet and increasing protein and fat intake, triglyceride levels can be reduced. Importance of Physical Activity: Regular physical activity, especially muscle-building exercises, helps burn excess glucose and prevents its conversion into fat. Leading an active lifestyle promotes fat loss and supports overall health. Emotional Factors: Emotional well-being and self-esteem can influence weight management. Insecurity and emotional stress can contribute to weight gain, hormonal imbalances, and difficulty losing fat. Addressing emotional factors alongside lifestyle changes can lead to better weight management. Age and Metabolism: As individuals age, metabolism tends to slow down. However, incorporating muscle-building exercises can help counteract muscle wasting and maintain a healthy metabolic rate. Age should not be seen as a limiting factor for weight management. Balanced Approach: Extreme measures are not necessary for fat loss. It's important to find a balance that includes a low-carb diet, muscle-building exercises, portion control, and a focus on overall well-being. Sustainable lifestyle changes yield long-term results.

Two questions please. Someone care to answer. How to build muscle? Specially when you are 50+? People who have high insulin, get diabetic in the long run. Then why are they given insulin injections? Aren't they already high on it?

Hmmmm. This is all v well. Yet the best weight loss I have ever achieved has been on a WFPB diet, which is high carb, low fat diet. BUT you eat COMPLEX CARBS. NOT junk simple carbs like sugar, cakes, crisps (chips) etc. And no hunger. I lost over 30kg. Just saying.

A dead giveaway on this video was you pronouncing "herb" as an indian would and then correcting yourself to repronounce it as "erb" - as an American would. Why would anyone want to fake an American accent for an Indian audience - just don't get it.
